Nash's — Restaurant in Guntersville

There is no crowd here. Even at 3pm the evening. One server. With about 4 tables full. And the bar with 6 customers. I got the chicken tenders and loaded waffle fries. They both were fresh and delicious. But definitely not worth the price. I’m still hungry after my meal. The manager came by and checked on me right after I got my food. My tea glass was half full. And as my server got a party of people in she was unable to take care of me. All the while what appeared the manager come by my table. I noticed he was at the bar with a young lady talking and what looked to be flirting while I was out of tea and I was in his direct sight. The bar tender saw me. I purposely made a loud sipping noise to see if anyone would come by and fill up my tea. Then about 7 minutes later my poor server came to fill my empty cup. You would think that a manager would step up and help with the load of one who is trying their best to make the customer happy. My 20 dollar meal was really not worth it to be honest. Went for dinner with three others Friday night. Was about 20 minutes waiting. So, this was dinner entertainment. The table they sat us at was on a wall near the bathroom across from the band. After a few minutes, the cold air had been blowing constantly from the ceiling duct work well above us. After ten minutes, all five of had napkins blown off the table , the women's hair was blown around, and we were all very cold. The food had not arrived yet, so I asked the waitress if they could turn the fan down as she was standing by the end off the table next to the bathroom her hair was blowing around her face. She left to see about it. As the food was arriving, the people next table over were leaving, making the same comment. The waitress came with our food and said they could not turn the fan down. Would we like to move over to the next table. No help.

Overall, if this was a constant problem, the manager needed to address it. A deflector to move the air from blowing directly on those two tables. Something.

I recently visited Nash's and had an overall positive experience, though there were a few things that left me disappointed. The food was delicious, with the pasta and chicken wings particularly standing out. However, the portion size of the nachos appetizer was surprisingly small for $10—it was the smallest serving of nachos I've ever seen.

Additionally, we were charged $3 for a side of Parmesan cheese with our pasta, which felt excessive, like being charged for ketchup with fries. We also had an issue with the chicken wings. We specifically asked for blue cheese but were mistakenly given ranch dressing. When we requested the blue cheese, we were given it but also charged an extra 75 cents for both of the sauces, which felt unnecessary.

While the food, ambiance, and service were generally good, the charges for things like Parmesan cheese and blue cheese left a bad taste, and we would have considered returning if not for those...
