Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Gypsum Township

This is the very first time I have ever rated a place. We had went there for the first time tonight and the man working at the drive thru was sort of rude cause i had questions like the type of chips the and about the sizes due to being my first time. I apologized and he didn't even seem like he could care less... I just figured he was just tired I have worked fast food so I understood. Well next thing we get go through to the window and there his rudeness is still continuing. I just brushed it off and paid he handed our food and drinks. Well just like i do before driving all the way home from anywhere we check the food. My wrap was falling apart and out of the wrap. I mean everything was being held together by the paper they use to wrap the food in. I go back inside the restraunt to show them and the same guy that was at the drive thru was the one i dealt with. Yet again he was rude and didnt care about my opinion just asked if i wanted it remade.... Like really? Well as im waiting I was watching them in the back. Let me tell you that the guy who was rude he had a pair of gloves on he was making the wraps and everything else well he did not once change his gloves. He had touched the computer in the drive thru, computer in lobby, credit card reader in the lobby, his face, the head set on his head and then started to finish making the food.

I have been to this location twice now. Overall the food is great but the service at this location was meh. The first time I went they said they had an oven down, this was within the first week of them opening which is concerning but getting things running on all cylinders takes a little time. The second time I decided to go I attempted to order online, no dice. They are not doing online ordering. I still went to the drive thru, which takes a long time, I asked the associate at the window when they would get online ordering and was told they are too busy to take online orders yet. Both times I went I ordered the Turkey original, it was really good both times. The first time I went I wanted to try their pizza but with an oven being down they said it would take a long time. I had already spent a good deal of time waiting to order so that is why I opted for the sandwich. The food is a little pricey for what you get, but if you are looking for a good sandwich this isn't a bad place to go. Doors were locked at 6:00 p.m. Lights were on, workers and manager inside. The female manager unlocked the door and said she had it locked because the wind kept blowing it open. There was one lady came in behind us.While we were waiting on our food, 2 ladies came to the door and I opened the door for them. They ordered and got their food. A man came to the door and the individual lady let him in. He was upset because manager told him they were closed at 6:30 p.m. and the time on the door said the lobby closes at 8:00 p.m. which is not what she told us. She did not offer an apology or have a hand written note on the door to say they were closing early. Our sourdough sandwich bread was dry and the top crust was coming off. The fillings were not the same as usual, and we didn't receive a pickle spear like normal. The rubber mat by the drink fountain was wadded up on the floor. A trash can door was left open, and she was doing chores of cleaning up to close. Plus we are seniors and didn't get a discount. This was bad all the way around.
