I have been a sprint customer for over 20 years. Since the switch to T Mobile this store has been horrible to deal with. When I went in to upgrade my families phones back when the switch was happening they only tried to push the most expensive phones. And when we did finally upgrade my phone had a factory defect that they refused to help with. They were rude and told me too bad not our problem. I had to go to Samsung and have them warranty repair the phone through a 3rd party. So I went in 2 years later with a question for our phones and Charlie who was there was only worried about getting us to upgrade to the top end phone which would give him the highest commission I guess. Charlie would not give us the cost of other phones or even answer questions. He was insistent that he would just tell us what to do. So we went across the street to Verizon and received the best care from a cell phone company I have ever had. They saved us over a hundred dollars a month with more included in the plan. It was so much cheaper that we added a ipad as well. The cell coverage is so much better. With TMobile there are so many dead spots where I would lose coverage. Even if you went right out in front of the TMobile store none of my 5 phones can get signal. When we went to the t mobile store again today Charlie asked us what we needed to do. When I informed him that we need to turn in our phones. He immediately told me that he didn't think he would be able to pull up our account which he had no problem doing just the week prior. And low and behold he said he couldn't pull up the account. And even wouldn't help me with the one phone I left active! He said we had to call support and "their hands were tied." So I call support and they tell me that I should just take the phones to the local store where they would be able to help us. When I tell them that the store refused to help they insisted that the store would help. I am so glad I am switching providers because I have only gotten the run around and everyone...
Read moreThis Derby store is amazing! One of the reasons I decided to transfer my cell service was due to the service I received at this location. Lamaya is one of the best cell phone representative I've ever encountered. She was polite, professional, and very patient. She took her time to explain the cell phone plan that would best suit out needs. She also took time to write down everything associated with our plan that T-Mobile offered. A few days later when I returned to T-Mobile in order to transfer our phones, it started out as a simple transaction. Then things went from bad to worse. T-Mobile tablets kept malfunctioning. However, Lamaya being the professional remained patient and continued working through the problem. When another problem arose with my existing cell phone provider, Lamaya as well as Jordan continued being the most patient, knowledgeable, and professional employees of T-Mobile. Thank goodness they got our phones transferred to their service. I only have to wait for our phones to come in the mail. The turn around time to receive our phones is about 5 days. T-Mobile has a number of phones available in their store inventory. However our phones had to be mailed due to the style and brand. Other than that we would have left the store with phones that day. Read moreI went with my daughter to the sprint stores to help her get her phones activated that she had now. We were there at the very last minute and I found them very helpful to my daughter. I am a Verizon customer and he told me about the tracker safe in town and I wanted to get one for my dog. I asked questions and was able to get two of them for a very good price. They had to be mailed to me so they were not activated in the store. When I came by trying to activate them and I spent over two hours on the phone with representatives who finally told me because I did not have a phone or a tablet there is no way for me to activate them. This is very frustrating since I asked that question in the store multiple times. And I had to go through the trouble of returning them I can just return them to the store since I had them shipped to me at my home. And I had to pay the postage which is very Disappointing!
