Juancho's Birrieria — Restaurant in Haines City

Haines city provides a majority of Mexican cuisine options, so many it is overwhelming, however look no further then Juancho’s birria! This is my second time visiting, first experience was take out and at the time my family and I ordered birria tacos and the quesadillas combo, all the food was securely packed and freshly cooked! Along with wonderful portions for the prices. Now today experiencing dine in with my dad and brother who are visiting all the way from Germany, we ordered the birria combo, burrito, and individual orders of every taco on the menu as my dad insisted on trying every single one lol.

Our food came to our table within 20 mins or less and during our wait we were served with complimentary tortilla chips & salsa which were also cooked fresh I mean you could tell as they were hot when served, this was unique as I have dined at many Mexican restaurants but I’ve never been served fresh tortilla chips! They were amazing in flavor, and a nice surprise and compliment to our meal. I can’t say enough how I love my experiences dining out even more when the staff is super friendly, and the food is cooked fresh to perfection. There aren’t enough words in English or Spanish to describe how incredible this place is. Since discovering this place I have been back several times, and have had almost everything on the menu. The Birria Ramen is absolutely unbelievable, and a must try. It’s become one of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten in my life. The quesabirria tacos are also delicious - corn tortilla dipped in birria consume and grilled, melted cheese, onions, cilantro, tender flavorful beef, and dipping in the consume brings it all together. We had the chicken flautas, amazing. The nachos were bomb. They fry their own tortilla chips in house, and it’s definitely noticed. The portion is huge, and the flavor is out of this world. The steak torta is INCREDIBLE and easily the best I’ve ever had. Don’t sleep on the desserts. The tres leche cake is incredible, as are the churros. First visit to Juancho’s Birrieria last Friday evening with 12 people in our party. This is a very small dining room and we took up most of the seating, however they also offer take out. We dined inside and you order at the counter and they deliver food to your table. We ordered Asada Quesadilla Combo with a Mexican Coke(bottle) ($17), Quesadilla de Pollo Combo with bottle of water ($15), and Tacos de Asada con Queso combo withAgua Fresca drink upgrade ($17). Let us tell you that the food is amazing….all of our entrees were quite tasty, fresh made to order and we would order everything again. Even the rice and beans were really tasty. The Aguas Fresca I ordered was pineapple and it had such a nice light and not too sweet flavor. The staff is friendly, helpful and wonderful.
