The manager Reuben seems to believe that in our society, it's acceptable for smartphones to be used as mobile daytime reggaeton disco club rigs. Patrons are allowed to create their own mixes and put them on blast for all to hear, in fact he literally encourages the volume competition as, "it's the same as their TV playing". So if you like your spicy chicken sandwich with a side of fresh hot Latin beats, go to your local Haines City Burger King and tell them Reuben said "It's Okay." Bring your largest Bluetooth speaker you can find and drown out the FOX News Channel they have running with subtitles and volume lower than a cell phone speaker. I brought up that my party was annoyed by that particular "la Patron DJ" and he said, "So?". I told him that the DJ was not being courteous to the other patrons as he failed to wear headphones. Reuben asked, "Why?" He said, "It wasn't a problem." I told him, "It's a problem with me." I also asked him, "Are you going to handle this or should I?" He did nothing and I told him I would be contacting corporate and he said, "go ahead, my name is Reuben". In the USA, we are courteous to our neighbors we share our environments with. We try not to disturb others with or existence in a normally functioning society. Reuben didn't seem to understand, that managers are responsible for the peaceful nature in their establishment. If I hadn't gone to Reuben to handle the problem, the problem would have been resolved by myself. An escalation between customers can get ugly, and the DJ might have wished his battery died or he had brought his headphones. Above all, the simple solution would have been two things: 1-Post a sign that says no loud music 2-Don't argue with the customers that pay you your salary, or express to them that you don't care about their comfort while they consume your product. Otherwise, the staff was great, the building was clean, the food is nice and has great value. It's a modern building with plenty of parking and single occupancy bathrooms. They have a freestyle Coca-Cola machine and nice dessert options. It was a little cold. The last two visits had FOX News Channel on their wall-mounted flat panel TV. I don't have a problem with the place, but management should understand their role and the customers should know how to...
Read moreUpdate - 12/2020 - I'm not sure why I keep going back to this one as there seems to always be a problem here. On this visit I was hopeful only to be disappointed. I ordered a #1 with cheese and just ketchup and pickles with fries and a Pepsi Zero. They got my fries and drink right and that was it mostly. My Whopper had no cheese but a second patty instead. There was ketchup and just 2 pickle slices on it. Since what I got was technically worth more than what I ordered I just ate it. Thankfully I had some extra ketchup in my car so I did like my meal. I just wish they cared enough to get things right. This is not the only location with problems but they have consistent ones. Since I was always a fan I keep hoping they will make a comeback but they have been just getting consistently worse. The food still tastes good, but they can't seem to get an order right. Plus their app has not performed at all well.
I'm not to sure about this location. It was my first time here and I used the drive thru. I had a coupon and they had trouble understanding it. Usually I'm asked for the number in the corner but this one wanted all the details instead. I gave them twice. At the window they asked what my order was and came up with two that were wrong. They gave me my food and some ketchup. I drove off and when I went to eat, no napkins in the bag. In the end I got the right order and it was fine. Just the employees seemed a...
Read moreMy family and I put in our order, it was raining that day and we decided to take to go. When we arrived at our home, noticed that some items were missing. Called the restaurant and talked to John, he said we could go back and pick the items whenever that he was going to allegedly put our name in al list. . Like I said it was raining we decided not to risk getting into an accident and to go the next day. The next day we arrived to the restaurant we were met at the register by a nice gentleman that was not wearing a name tag, which is a shame because he was the only person who had good customer service. We put in a new order and explained what happened the previous day. He quickly went and got “THE MANAGER” a lady who later was identified as “MARTHA” by other employees, because she did not even had the decency of telling us her name. Her approach immediately was defensive and accusatory towards us, as if we needed to go to the store and lie in order to get a couple of cheeseburgers and a couple of bacon kings that were missing from our order the previous day. She decided that she wasn’t going to listen to us, went back to the kitchen area prepped to big kings and said that’s what you’re getting. No apologies offered, no customer service at all, and this person is “THE MANAGER” wow!!! If, I could give it negative 5 I would, 1 star...
