Burger King — Restaurant in Hales Corners

Wow this place went downhill. I went here with my brother a few weeks ago because I really wanted something unhealthy and I do really like Burger King. It was clear with this visit we were in it for a long time, not a good time.

We had gotten in line to order. I'll admit, we had a lot of things ordered and I know that it was going to take awhile. The young man who was ringing us up was very friendly and nice, but you could tell he was new to the job. My issue isn't with this young man, but rather the management in this store.

He had asked for help ringing an item up and the manager not only refused to help him she also berated him. She repeatedly shouted at him to stop taking orders and address the drive thru line. Well, there wasn't near the kind of back up in the drive thru as there was in the store. At least four people were behind us and two people were waiting for their orders. Even if there was a backup in the drive thru, that's not at all an excuse for how poorly this manager treated this young man. Her behavior made us extremely uncomfortable.

We waited quite a bit of time for our food, nearly 30 minutes after ordering. Ordering took 30 minutes because of the poor management that spent more time shouting at employees rather than helping them or at least helping with taking orders to at least speed things up. We looked at the receipt and I noticed right away that things weren't as I ordered and I was overcharged. When we got our food, we had the manager correct it in store and she gave us attitude for asking for a correction. In total, a trip we thought would maybe take 15 minutes took over an hour. Yeah, the food was good, but it wasn't worth seeing what we saw and waiting for so long.

I really do love Burger King, but I cannot go back to this one. I'll go to the one in Muskego or on 76th street from now on. I really worry for the employees here and hope they find better management or better jobs somewhere else. I did contact Burger King and someone from the store did leave a message, but from the sound of the message it seemed like they were more concerned about how long things took rather than the terrible manager. I hope the franchisee or someone can take...

Im so angry! I placed an order tonight on 11/09/23! This was for my parents cause they were coming home from vacation from Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and they were driving up from Chicago so i wanted to get them some food. I ordered on the app and drove all the way out to hales corners from muskego only to have no one there! It's open until 11pm? I got there at 10:30! What a joke of a store. Maybe change your hours cause it seems like no one wants to work until close!I will never ever go to this location again. I went to the one in Greenfield, and they were so helpful to actually make me food even if it was last minute. Cause obviously this location doesn't stay open until 11 like they say they do. If you can, stay away from this location... go to the one in Greenfield or in Brookfield on Mooreland.

If you're short staffed that's fine, but maybe close then instead of saying you're open when no one is there? Or when there is...

My husband visited this BK on 9/13/18 at 9:50pm (I tried doing a review on mybkexperience but it wouldn't let me). We had ordered 3 sandwiches and a large drink. We went through the drive through and we're greeted very kindly. We were asked politely asked to pull around front as our spicy chicken would take about 5 more minutes. We waited up by the front doors as they worked to clean up the dining area and entrance. The young lady who'd taken our order came out and assured us they hadn't forgotten about us, that it'd be about 2 more minutes. When we got our food a few minutes later, the gentleman was very polite and handed us three bags. Though I was confused by having three bags, we thanked him and drove home. They graciously gave us two medium fries and a slice of apple pie for our minor inconvenience of waiting for our sandwiches! It was unexpected though greatly appreciated. Great...
