We went for the first time on Friday for the fish fry. We didn't want to sit at a high-top table, so we opted to be seated in the back room. It was a little chilly initially but that's because we were the only ones in there for most of our time. As soon as we started eating and our metabolisms fire up it was very comfortable. It was also quite peaceful as the main dining room was pretty loud. It's Friday Fish Fry in Wisconsin. It's gonna be busy, so it's gonna be loud. This worked out very well for one member of group who is hard of hearing. He was able to participate fully in conversations and had a great time. Hearing aides just don't help in loud environments. The service was excellent. It's been several days so as is typical, I have forgotten our server's name. She was friendly and helpful and checked in regularly. We were not left feeling forgotten in the back room as she knew just how long to wait between check-ins. Very pleasant experience. There was Ocean Perch, Walleye Pike, and Taco Salad ordered, and I had the Fried Butterfly Gulf Shrimp with Tots. For the most part everyone enjoyed their dinners. The shrimp, though tasty, were quite small making the price for the dinner quite steep. One person ordered the "potato pancakes" which he said were nothing more that squashed tater tots. Not enough of an issue to make a complaint, but certainly something you should be aware of if you're actually wanting potato pancakes - which these are not. OH! I also started with a cup of Cheesy Sausage Potato Soup. Just Delicious. I could see going back on a different night to try the stone baked pizza

First time there. Spacious parking lot and spacious restaurant. Walked in, not busy at all, less than 4 customers (including myself), and everyone just stared at me as I walked in. I thought to myself, am I in the right place? It was one of those scenes in a movie where a new cowboy walks into the bar, the music stops, everyone stops talking and looks at him - kind of a moment. The bartender looked at me didn't acknowledge a "hi" or "welcome", and so I asked her, "Hi, do I seat myself?" She still didnt say anything to me while talking to another guest; several seconds later, someone from the back told me that I could sit anywhere and someone would be right with me. Menu isnt the biggest if youre looking for variety. I ordered the chicken cobb salad and a bloody mary. The salad was good - crispy fresh vegetables and toppings, chicken was tender. Bloody was okay; didnt ask me for a chaser. I assume it came with one because when they dont ask it usually comes with one but, I was wrong to assume, it didn't and no biggy. It came with toppings and the bloody tasted comparable to something you'd find from the grocery store. The beef stick tasted and smelled off - expired? Service was good--the only thing that made the experience okay. The waitress was sweet and came around often to checkup on me (thank you for your service). The only thing I'd have to mention is how quicky she brought the bill out. I wasn't halfway through my salad and it was placed on the table. Im sure this wasnt the intention, but it felt as if I had to hurry with my food and get out of there. Wont be back but here's something worth mentioning--a great amount of TVs to watch a game.
