A long drive home… Was kinda leery when the Hales Corner have heavy construction and hardly anyone at their restaurants’ parking lot. Almost did a U-turn and go to my “comfort sushi’s place.” U ever have that gut-feeling that U should have gone to a place U know it’s good…well I’m glad I took a chance with “good” reviews from my search on Google. In my past life I must have been a Sumo wrestler. It was so good that I ended ordered a second round of sushi. Spicy Tuna Roll, Spider Roll & Rainbow Roll for my first course; with the sushi and rolls I’m familiar with. Small in portion…BUT BIG delicious in taste! Firecracker & Hidden Dragon Roll…my second course; never ordered these rolls that I can recalled. Well, I definitely didn’t make a “bad” choice. 100% glad I made the choice to stop! PS…server could be better but understand our economy situation. When U have sitting on Ur rear R making more money than actually working, I’ll give this server a break. Hope he continue to learn & to be more attentive. I like my rear pamper when I’m out dining!!! PSS…Alright…ONE small complaint(when I got my bill)…should have ordered the BOAT! 😂

I will comment on what we ordered as this was our first time trying this place out (I dont recall the exact names of these dishes, but they are in the photos). Ramen was bland and tasteless. The pork belly was unedible. It's most disappointing when the pork belly does not melt in your mouth like it does everywhere else. This was on par with rubber elastic. Everything was way overly salty. Our pork buns were destroyed and fell apart instantly by the sloppy wet pork. Tuna were not sliced even and it is pretty much just sashimi with soysauce. The dumplings were meh, they are dumplings. We only got the one sushi, which was okay for the most part. Presentation all across was very lacking. Only saving grace was the customer service. Our waitress was very proactive which was nice. We did come near the end of the night so maybe they gave us left overs or were rushed, not sure why though as it wasn't too busy. Unfortunately we will definitely not come back. I suggest if you want decent ramen try Hungry Sumo or Kawa.

Heard a lot of hype about this place for ages and it was not a let down! Loved that there were DF and Vegan options. There were boba teas that were smoothies and their apps were fantastic. Overall the food was 10/10. The restaurant itself was clearly remade from something like an old Wendies and they did a great job at hiding that. I sat there easily 20 minutes before it occurred to me. Only real cons is that it was a little expensive, I went with a regular and they said everything went up notably. Given the state of the world I understood why. Service was also slow/not attentive. It's not like we sat there all day however I feel we might have had I not got up a few times. To be fair, we were the only people there at the time and there was only 2 running the house/drive thru. Great time. Loved it.

I had Japanese curry for the first time ever at a Japanese supermarket in Illinois a few months ago and have been craving it ever since. Upon searching the Milwaukee area for a place that has Japanese curry on the menu, I stumbled across this place. Decided to finally give it a try yesterday and I sure wish I had come here sooner! The curry here is AMAZING! I could eat it all day, every day. My fiancé ordered tonkotsu ramen which he also enjoyed. We ate our meals so fast, we did not get any pictures to share. HOWEVER, I do have a picture of an adorable keychain I bought after our meal. They have some of these hanging from the light fixtures throughout the restaurant. :) Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some great Japanese food!
