For a better accepting coffee shop jump over Hwy1 to Starbucks! The barista was rude and terribly receptive to its customers. I walked in with my actual Service Dog, and she flat out called out telling me how dogs are not allowed in the shop. Meanwhile, a white man and his dog that was not on the leash (but was a very cute and adorable dog) was never told anything about his dog. He even approached me to tell me how she was so delayed in refusing customers with dogs since he had already been I there, ordered his drink and was waiting for it. But soon after and before I even could approach the register she yelled out to me to tell me. Never once asked if my dog is a service dog, or even why I brought him in but simply yelled out at me. I could have started a long try my conversation with that young girl and put her in her place, but I refuse to entertain people beneath me. Instead what I did do was jump over to Starbucks where I know dogs are welcome (service or not). Seems like Pete’s coffee doesn’t know how to train its own workers. Disgusting behavior and never again would I or will I spend my money in a Pete’s Coffee shop. Terrible experience there, and you know it is bad when other customers approached me outside to tell me how rude that barista was and behaved. They did invite me to come back in (the customers) but I am better than that, and decided to take my business to Starbucks instead where ALL are welcome, including dogs. Too bad she behaved more like an animal than all the other two dogs there besides mine. Never again going to Pete’s coffee…maybe they need to learn from city based Pete’s coffee.
FYI, none of the questions below are applicable as I took business to Starbucks where I did get a chocolate croissant, Venti Vanilla cold Brew, and Dragon Drink Refresher, which all were great! Thank you Starbucks, Pete’s coffee, learn...

Read moreWow, this Peets coffee house, hands down, wins the worse Retail Customer Service award of the year!
Here's my story .... I had a customer coupon card that should have given me a free complimentary cup of coffee at Peets, and yes, it's been in my wallet for a while, maybe a long while. When I eventually presented this card to the Barista, she calmly smiled at me and stated that they no longer accept these complimentary cards at Peets, and without blinking an eye, torn-up that card in front of me, threw it in the bin, and asked me to pay.
Again ... WOW ... Worse retail customer service ever experienced!
What's the point in handing out these loyalty cards for a complimentary coffee/ tea in the first place? ... To gain customer loyalty and brand affinity? ... going out on a limb here ... I think maybe yes?
But then, to tear it up in front of a customer and trash it? How does that inspire brand loyalty? ... to be honest here and I'm talking to Peet's Coffee & Tea Corporate Execs ... it causes the exact opposite effect, your customer loyalty takes a nose dive, big-time! ... Me, well I'm going to Starbucks for my next cup o' joe.
BTW I ask the Barista to take the card out of the thrash so I could take...
