A Culinary Experience Elevated by Service and Setting
From the moment we sat down, it was clear we were in for a culinary treat. Every dish we ordered was a testament to thoughtful preparation and expert execution. The prosciutto pizza and the mushroom pizza with caramelized onions were absolute standouts—each bite perfectly balanced with bold yet harmonious flavors. The calamari was tender and crisp, and the mixed parrilla of chicken, chorizo, and steak was grilled to absolute perfection. Each protein was juicy and flavorful, showcasing a masterful blend of seasoning and technique.
But what truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service. Alfonso, our server, went above and beyond from start to finish. His knowledge of the menu was outstanding, offering thoughtful recommendations that suited each of our tastes. His attentiveness and warm demeanor made us feel incredibly well cared for—he was truly the highlight of our evening.
The atmosphere of the restaurant only added to the magic. With stunning views, a prime location, and a vibrant yet relaxed vibe, it was the perfect backdrop for our meal.
The only blemish on an otherwise exceptional evening was the valet parking experience, which was nothing short of frustrating. While this service is separate from the restaurant itself, it’s worth noting that several guests—including us—faced serious delays and confusion. Management would do well to address this issue, as it detracts from the otherwise seamless experience.
All in all, this is a place worth visiting—not just for the phenomenal food, but for the full experience. Just be ready to exercise a little patience...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Absolutely terrible. Don’t let the pictures for you. The food is horrible, the service is horrible, the bathrooms are disgusting, and just all around negative experience. My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice place to have dinner and enjoy the city view. Unfortunately we did not read the reviews ahead of time. I ordered the steak salad and she ordered pasta. The lettuce was soggy, and the steak was full of fat. Her dish was obviously warmed up a time or two after being served. There was barely anybody there, however it took them an hour to bring out our food. Once our food arrived, and we finally were able to get the attention of our waitress, we notified her that we had not received our glass of wine or water. We were so hungry, and began eating without her beverage. Both of us were just completely turned off by the food. And they finally brought our Chardonnay white cold wine, it was delivered in a plastic cup lukewarm. A few waiters and waitresses pass by and when we tried to get their attention big notice and kept walking. At some point, as most, I had to use the restroom. You would not believe it. It was disgusting. Dirty floors, stained toilets and no soap. I just couldn’t fathom how they would allow this. This restaurant is inside the Hyde hotel in Hollywood. Cannot speak for the hotel itself, only to say that it was $50 to Valet. I would not Minded spending that money for a halfway decent experience. My recommendation is to not even come close to trying this place. A complete turn off and a waste of money.

Read moreI came to this restaurant from the beach to have lunch. I sat down outside at the bar overlooking the rooftop pool. Couldn't really see the ocean from my seat but it was still a very nice setting.
I ordered a beer and the calamari to start. The calamari was one of the best I've had. SO tender and not rubbery at all. The marinara was great with it and I asked for some aioli also which was good. Next I ordered a mojito, which was $20. It was good and had a sugar cane stirrer which was a nice touch but still the $20 was a little steep in my opinion.
I also ordered the grilled octopus which was cooked perfectly as well. Very tender. I don't know if I loved the kalamata olive sauce that it came with, but it was alright. I think better seasonings or a different sauce would have been better but it was still good. Just not the best octopus I've had.
Altogether it was about $105 with the tip. Steep for a lunch but I was on vacation and wanted to try some good food. I will say the place could use a little updating. For example the mirrors lining the wall behind the bar could stand to be cleaned or replaced. Looking a little dingey. Only one of the 3 tv's was on. Bartender seemed very preoccupied and inattentive. I know he was making drinks for the guests at the pool and all but I was the only one sitting at the bar for most of the time. I tried to make conversation with him and he seemed annoyed so I left him to his drinks and didn't bother him. Took a while for a refill and that was only after I asked for one. Oh...
