Pizza is excellent. Service is friendly even if it is a bit outside the norm of what you would find in the area. (Think more tattoos and punk rock less farmers and school teachers)
The cheese sticks are huge. They call them rolling pins. There is no way it could be healthy for anyone to eat even one of these. I wish they had an option to order just one rolling pin but they come in pairs of two for $15 realistically we've never eaten more than one and even that's a stretch.
The lunch special is a great deal with one rolling pin and a slice of pizza and a drink for 15 bucks. There's no fountain sodas here so it's old style craft soda.
They do sell pizza by a slice which is a great option when they have it otherwise you're looking at paying $30 or $40 a large pizza. Yes it's very very large. Yes it's very good. But it's still an expensive pizza for the area. Potentially on the west side this pricing would feel a little more in line.
There are five or six other pizza places nearby and though the quality is not as good, You can get two medium pizzas that are 80% as good for 50% less. This makes it a tough proposition and the price limits the frequency of eating here..
Awesome to see the community embrace the grand opening let's see how the dust settles and how well the community absorbs and adapt to this pricing and value...

Baker Boys in Knoxville should be illegal. We ordered pizza, wings, and mozz sticks—and every single item was a disappointment wrapped in grease and false hope.
The pizza? Floppy, bland, and straight-up sad. I’ve had frozen Totino’s that slapped harder. Mozz sticks were giving “rolling pin filled with paste.” No flavor. No texture. Just vibes—and bad ones.
The wings? Somehow both soggy AND salty, and they came sprinkled with lemon seeds. Be so serious. Who hurt you??
Everything was cold on arrival, which would’ve been fine if reheating helped. It didn’t. It just highlighted how truly inedible this food was. We ended up tossing the leftovers—and the money we spent felt like it followed them straight into the trash.
We always support local, we’re not picky, and we usually give grace. But this? Nah. This place SUCKS. Hard. Can’t believe anyone recommends it.
Also, the owner? Rude as hell. Genuinely seems like he hates customers and joy.
Save your money, your tastebuds, and your dignity. Go literally anywhere else.

Read moreAfter seeing all the hype we had really high hopes for this pizza place. The girl working the front was less than enthused to have to take our order. It was well before closing time and everything we ask for she said "we're out of that." The guy making pizza was putting cheese on all the pizzas with no gloves after wiping sweat off his face with his hand. The water tap coming right out of the bathroom wall opposed to serving water is a little unique and not appealing. The food was just not very good either. Also, I can understand a fly or two being that the doors are opened and closed, but the amount of flies that we had to keep shewing away from our food was a real turn off considering the amount of unsupervised food waiting to be put in the oven sitting all over the counter. As a family, we all got really sick with what seemed like food poisoning after eating the pizza as well. In the most polite way, 0/10 do not recommend. But I would recommend a visit from a owner or health...
