We found a great deal on a swimming pool here. We ordered it online and had it shipped to the store. We had a large order with it. At the time we were extremely happy. Until we actually had to interact with the store itself. First off, we got an email notification that the order was there and then immediately got another notification that our items have been picked up. We did not pick him up. I called the store and talk to someone who seemed very rude, and very exasperated to even have to talk to someone on the phone. They confirmed that our order was there. So, my wife went to get it. When she arrived, the pool was in a massive box that had stickers everywhere, showing that more than one person needed to lift it. She was greeted with “oh, it’s youth pool“ then the staff asked her to load it in the car by herself. The box is taller, wider, and weighs more than she does. I could barely lift the box when she got it home. When she told them that she could not lift it herself, they seemed like it was the end of the world that someone had to come help a 5 foot two woman load, a massive swimming pool into the back of a car. Then, she discovered that the order was incomplete. But the staff at the store had been so rude and so hard to deal with that she didn’t even feel comfortable going back in the store by herself. We contacted corporate customer service to see what we could do about the missing items. We just wanted a refund. Corporate customer service told us that since we had picked up the order, we would have to take it up with the local store. We are just going to eat the money. None of us want to deal with that store or those employees ever again.
For a company that brags about how it’s based on faith, family, and freedom this store sounds an absolutely awful message. Maybe some other stores are better. But I will not be darkening the door of a r rural King again. You have lost my business, and I imagine you will lose the business of everyone that I talk to...
Read moreThis is one of the poorest run stores that I've been in in a long time. I can't tell you the amount of times I've come to this store for automotive things and they've been out of the product. Totally different story if it's on sale in a outstanding price then people would buy it up. But I'm talking about their normal price. I've had at least four managers who said they would call me back to give me feedback on the issues that I presented to them over the last year.. I ended up calling the corporate number to complain about several products like wiper blades and oil and oil filters just to name a few. I never got straight answers and when they said they were changing vendors the time frame they gave me was six or eight weeks later than when they stated. Obviously many things are out of a person's control. But one thing that is in control is when a manager says they're going to call you back and they never call and don't text and don't leave a message then that's just poor customer service. I'm sick and tired of wasting my money and time driving across town to come to this store just for a darn bag of popcorn! They can't keep managers long enough either it appears in the automotive department in my opinion is run very poorly not even average. Given the amount of money my family and I have spent here in the last year we're better off going to either another rural King or another similar store to buy similar products. One of the worst things anyone could say to someone is that they're disappointed and using that d word is how I feel at the moment...
Read moreThis might be a good store if you're just shopping to be shopping, but if you're a farmer with a tax exemption card you had best go somewhere else. I've never had trouble at CO-OP or tractor supply with my tax exemption, but I've had trouble here every time I've tried to buy something that is supposed to be tax exempt at this store. I won't be going back after today. I went in to buy four heavy duty batteries for my farm tractors today because they were dead. I spent 30 minutes in the battery section trying to find help because the book they had didn't have my make and model of tractors in it. A customer ended up helping me find my batteries. I then proceeded to go to the checkout and was from there sent to the service desk so they could obtain a new copy of my Tennessee tax exemption card. After the lady made a copy. I was then informed it wouldn't be until Monday until someone could enter that information to take the tax off. I told her I was a farmer and I needed the batteries today and that it wasn't my inconvenience that the said person wasn't there to enter the information. I asked if they were going to do something to make it right, and of course the answer was no. I left the batteries in the cart at the desk, and didn't look back as I left. Maybe they need to change their motto to America's home store instead of America's farm and home store because they sure don't seem to care about the true farmers that are out there. I'll be taking my business to other competitors who will accept my...
