Whit's Frozen Custard Norris Lake — Restaurant in Halls Crossroads

Went in today with my 3 children because I had a coupon in the valued reader Clipp magazine for a buy 1 whitzer any size get 1 mini for $1. Had a great experience with the girls at the register they engaged my children upon arrival and were very friendly and also gave us some samples to try out. We sat down to eat our custard and my kids got the vanilla with gummy worms but soon started to complain and whine because their gummies vanished so quickly. Shocker!Haha. Mind you I have a 6,5,3 year old sharing a mini whitzer so it wasn’t any fault of the shop that the toppings were gone yet the girl at the register went above and beyond to give my kids a lil extra gummy worms to brighten up their spirits and finish the rest of their custard. I thought that was very generous and a small act of kindness like this makes me want to go back and spend my money here even without a coupon. Very sweet and thoughtful! Thank you for being attentive and aware of even the smallest customers who walk through the doors.The vanilla and chocolate custard were both creamy and delicious but I preferred the chocolate overall. We've been here twice. Both times we we're the only people in the place, around lunchtime. The custard is very good but the girl working the counter needs to be able to explain their products and process better. I ordered a mini with Reece's, she ask if I wanted one scoop. So I asked if they had both soft serve and hand dipped. You could see her eyes glaze over. She begins to tell me how it comes out of a big shute....Never really clarifying what that means. My wife order a mini with peanut butter. She asked if we just wanted peanut butter on top? No mixed please. Got our two items, wife's was mixed but had very little flavor. Mine was a mini with Reese's dumped on top? I thought the process was custard mixed with what ever extra you order? My mistake for not telling her exactly how to prepare my oder. Please do a better job of explaining everything or at least ask the customer how they want it prepared. I ask her when they are busy, again no clear answer. my experienced happened yesterday around 8 pm we ordered a banana split and 2 brownie blitz. they added way too much ice cream that started causing to spill everywhere especially onto my clothes. we asked this blonde girl behind the counter if they have any lids for the banana split.
