Review: Where do I even begin with this disaster of an ice cream shop? My recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.
First and foremost, the service was atrocious. The staff seemed completely disinterested in their customers and lacked any semblance of basic manners. The employees were more concerned with their personal conversations and gossip than actually serving customers. It was as if I had stumbled upon a staff meeting for the most apathetic and unprofessional group of individuals imaginable.
Moving on to the ice cream itself, I can't express how disappointed I was. The flavors were bland and uninspired, leaving me wondering if they had mistakenly used cardboard as an ingredient. The texture was equally disappointing; it was grainy and lacked the smooth creaminess that one would expect from a reputable ice cream shop. It felt as if I was eating a frozen bowl of disappointment with a side of regret.
To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for the subpar quality. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for exceptional ice cream, but this place was an absolute rip-off. It felt like they were charging me for the privilege of enduring their awful service and tasteless treats.
Cleanliness was also a major concern. The shop was filthy, with sticky floors and tables that hadn't seen a cloth in ages. I had to navigate through a minefield of discarded napkins and half-melted ice cream cones just to find a semi-clean spot to sit. It was a breeding ground for bacteria, and I feared for my health with every bite I took.
Overall, my experience at this ice cream shop was an unmitigated disaster. From the lackluster flavors to the abysmal service and unsanitary conditions, there was not a single redeeming quality about this place. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this ice cream shop at all costs. You'll...
Read moreI have a service animal: he is clearly marked by his vest: it says âSERVICE ANIMALâ on both sides of his vest in big bold letters. I was approached by the manager there, Taylor, who said I need to get my dog off of the floor. There are two questions that can be asked when it comes to service animals. 1)Is the dog required because of a disability? 2)what task is dog trained to perform? She asked neither. What if a blind man that has an 80 pound German shepherd goes in the store? Do they tell this man suffering from a disability as well To pick up the dog? The size of my dog is irrelevant and so is their policy. What if they had a policy to not serve people of a certain color? Federal Law supervise them. I carry federal Law service animal cards with my to educate people but I am never returning to this establishment and if you suffer from any type of disability I would hope you would join me. I am Also contacting the appropriate agencies to report this violation of my rights. It is a long process but I would never give up in hopes that it can help the person or people that...
Read moreMy family LOVES ASHLEY'S!! If you haven't been there it is a must! Hands down the best ice cream in Connecticut! They rotate flavors constantly and always have something for every taste including frozen yogurt. They come up with the best combinations, and the sundaes are fantastic! There are so many toppings to choose from, and everything tastes fresh. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is fun with customers artwork adorning the walls. You can sample any flavor you'd like, and they have a "pup cup" for the family dog. It comes complete with a little biscuit, adorable. I would pay a lot more for their ice cream too, but they have somehow kept prices down. It doesn't get better than Ashley's. Every member of my family has one of their T-shirts. Not to mention that there is a great backstory to the place and it's a family owned business. I hope it's...
