The store was clean and the food was good. Unfortunately, the service made this my last visit. We have been coming to this store since 2004 at the previous location. The staff was always nice and we frequently attended special events here. We were excited to come to the "Grand Reopening at the new location.
Half of our group ordered at the counter and the other half on the app. The counter order arrived, but the app order took over 15 minutes (app said 2-7 minutes). When the app order arrived the drink was not included. The staff member said he would go get it. After having another table's milkshakes prepared, the drink was delivered. It arrived over 10 minutes after the food.
The most significant problem, however, occurred at the end of our meal. Two of my children arrived at the restaurant shortly before 9:30. The sign on the door of this brand new restaurant said they were open until 10. My children were told they had to wait outside. I went to the door and told the employee that they were coming inside and that her manager could some see me if she had a problem. The manager yelled to me across the dining room that they were closed. I said, "That's fine, they can come sit with us while we finish our meal. Your sign says 10." She said, "We're already closed. You need to leave. We have places to go." She said this even though the drive-thru is ACTUALLY open until 10.
When I told her that Chick-fil-a's mistake (the sign) is not my problem, she accused ME of escalating and said I was not treating her like a "human." Remember that this same person just told my children they had to wait outside for their parents. I was able to speak to the owner as he was onsite for the reopening. He was very polite and apologetic, but I very clearly told him that I would not be eating at that Chick-fil-a again.
Also, not one person said, "my pleasure" during our...
Read moreFirst things first, this was my Second and Last time at chick fil a! I figured after my first unpleasant experience I would give them another try two years later, which I quickly regretted! The girl who took my order was very distracted talking to another employee about when they “get paid” she literally stood at my car discussing this convo which had nothing to do with me, and to make matters worse she didn’t even stop the convo she had me waiting for her before she even attempted to greet me and actually take my order which I’m assuming was her job to do! I’m sitting in my car with my window down wasting my ac air in 90 degree weather while this girl discussed pay! Very unprofessional! Which confused me because I could have sworn the customer service was what makes this place A1, guess not! After the hiccup with getting my order taken I drove around to get my order, first off they handed me my shake and told me to pull behind another car and wait, which I did. Literally no straw! What am I supposed to drink a shake with? Anyway that’s not the worst part! The ultimate disappointment kicked in when I drove all the way home and my food was so hard and over fried the “nuggets” were like little pebbles! Emphasis on the “little” Atleast if you decide to overcook something let it be a decent portion! And to added the last fuel to light the fire…. The girl who took my order asked me twice if I wanted sauce, of course my reply was yes! I get home and absolutely nothing in the bag! Nothing to atleast dip my over fried inedible chicken in. I ended up attempting to throw some franks hot sauce from my cabinet and it just disappointed me furthermore! It’s just a simple No for me! I should have followed my first decision and...
Read moreWe arrived at this Chick Fil A location at around 10:20 AM. There was a long line for breakfast, which is okay, I work in the service industry so I can understand being in the middle of a rush. Once it’s out turn to order, it’s 10:38 AM. The breakfast menu was still shown on screen. We ask for a #2 (Chicken bites). The woman who was “taking care” of us, ANGELA asks if we wanted pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, and so on. And we’re all in the car sitting there a little confused, because to our memory, breakfast chix bites don’t come with all of those veggies. So we ask, “Cheese for the breakfast chix bites?” To which ANGELA replies, “We are no longer serving breakfast at this time.” To which we reply, “Oh, well we were waiting in line and the breakfast menu is still up.” ANGELA responds, “I apologize, we are no longer serving breakfast at this time” Ok. Cool. So we order: 2 SPICY CHIX DELUXE MEAL W/ SWEET TEA, ICED COFFEE, DIET COKE, 1 REGULAR CHIX SANDWICH MEAL WITH COKE. sauces: RANCH, CHIC FIL A SAUCE, HONEY MUSTARD. Angela just responds saying “pull forward” Not accommodating, not sweet, not even nice. As I'm typing this, I'm looking for the hospitality, but just can’t seem to find it. We pay, we get our food. To our DISBELIEF when we get home, we had lemonade instead of sweet tea, and no RANCH, AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I hope that Angela can heal from whatever was giving her such a rough day, because sheesh. From now on, I’m going to have to be the annoying person to triple check my food and drinks before going home. This chick fil a has certainly taught...
