I have gone to this specific staples location for the last 7 years and have found the customer service satisfactory to my needs, until this afternoon. I came into the store today to make copies . I went to the copying section of the store as I wanted assistance with making the copies due to the delicate nature of the paper compared to what I wanted which was simple hole punched paper with black and white ink. The employee who was working at the station refused to assist and wanted me to go to the copy machine to make the copies even after explaining my concerns three times. I finally decided to tell the staff member to forget it. Instead of immediately writing a review, o decided to speak to the manager who I have briefly spoken to before . I wanted the manager to address the concern and provide assistance. The manager did not provide a resolution to the problem and tried to see if there were any mistakes that I had made in my requests looking to just defend the employees lazy actions. I told the manager that he missed the purpose of the concern and that I will go to another store who listens to their customerâs needs, wants to help their customers, and constructively listens rather than look to blame the customer without a resolution.    Read moreLet me get this straight, you return 10 unopened, 2 opened HP Ink cartridges, without a receipt, and the associate Keishla gets reprimanded by her OBNOXIOUS ASSISTANT MANAGER TONY??? You see, I called ahead and was told we will be delighted to take whatever you've got back!!! No mention of it being expired etc... to not allow me the return. I give my driver's license, get a receipt, and dearest DEFENDING THE CASTLE TONY says:"I'm not going to take that hit, and neither is my GM Nick. Tony forces me to take the merchandise back, and pretty much tells me to go to another staples, if that's what that staples on route 130 said, go to them, because I won't give you this merchandise return card, and I can do whatever I please!!! Legally, Morally, do I have a leg to stand on, even if the customer is always right, and your associate needs training, no need to school her in front of me, nor give me attitude!!! That's how you lose future business, and I'm a longtime customer, who's now extremely upset at the way I was treated!!!

They were helped by the associate but when it was my turn, he just left me there without saying anything and went to another station. When I saw that he was helping another customer, I thought that maybe the other customer had been waiting there for some time already, so I waited patiently. After he helped them, he just went on doing other tasks! So obviously he was ignoring me because it has been some time already. I did not want to make a scene so thank God another associate arrived (he was the same associate who greeted me at the door) and helped me with my returns! I donât know if the first associate refused to help me due to racial or religious discrimination but if he wants to be that way then he shouldnât be working in customer service.
