MISSION BBQ — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

We were around the area for a nice day out with the family, so we came across mission bbq. It seemed pretty busy inside and the line was moving pretty fast. I was unsure of what to get so I got the 2 meat sampler, half a yard chicken, and the ribs. I have to say that I was disappointed, the meat sampler was a very small portion, the corn bread fell apart. I've had corn bread and i have never seen that it completely broke apart. The chicken was raw, there was no way that I was going to take a chance on raw chicken, so I brought it back and told one of the staff members. The manager proceeded to say that it was a little pink and that it was from the smoker, baloney! I explained that the chicken was raw and that it was bleeding so the manager did make it right by giving us something else but still was truly disappointed. Chicken should be cooked through and through. The mac n' cheese was okay, the baked beans were awful! The meat including the ribs, brisket and pulled pork had absolutely no flavor. I agree with some of the reviewers that the meat is not smoked, it is boiled then put in the oven, not an authentic bbq joint. I didn't even smell any kind of smoke from any of the meats. I work as a first responder but the food is not worthy especially for the price. The only upside about this place is that the staff was nice and friendly, the decor is nice but other than that it is truly not worth the trip to this restaurant.
