DELIVERY NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED

Over the last 10 years, we've ordered delivery 3 or 4 times. They usually tell us 30-45 minutes, but we've NEVER gotten our food in less than an hour and a half. The last time was actually TWO AND A HALF HOURS! When it finally does arrive, it's completely cold. When you call to find out where your order is, the snippy staff tell you that the driver has just left, your food is on the way. When you call back a half hour later, they tell you (very unapologetically) the same thing, and are annoyed with you for calling again. The last time we ordered, I called after 1 hour to find out where our food was and was given the usual story about the driver already having left with our food, so I drove over to the restaurant to see for myself. When I got there, they initially told me the same thing, and told me I couldn't cancel the order or pick it up myself because the driver had it and was already on the way. When I insisted on speaking to someone other than the girl at the counter, that gentlemen quickly discovered that our food was not even ready yet. They weren't busy, so they couldn't even use that as an excuse.This was several years ago, but I see by current reviews that their service has not improved.

Why did we keep trying? Because after a year or two had passed, we figured that they must surely have gotten the kinks worked out of their delivery service by now. But sadly they just don't seem to care. They've been in business for a long time so they must be doing something right, but it's clearly not their delivery service.

We've been into the restaurant several times, and are usually treated as if waiting on us is an inconvenience. It makes no difference if we're sitting at a table or getting take-out, our server or counter person seems irritated that they have to put down their phone and deal with a customer, and they are in no hurry to acknowledge that we are even standing there waiting.

The food is reasonably good, but nothing special. Certainly not worth dealing with a disinterested wait-staff or 2-hour delivery. If you feel you must order from Godfather's, just call and order it...

I am very upset at moment. I am a recurrent customer however after this incident i will not be. My mother placed a food order online and paid in full. She told me what she got, and I had let her know one of the items she got contained mushrooms in which the family she had gotten for was highly allergic to. My ma called up the place and asked them if she could have it re made the response from apparently the manager was "its already in the oven" my ma explained to them that the family member she ordered for was severely allergic, and guess what the response was? The manager hung up the phone! I go in to pick up the food and the first thing i asked was if they re made it the manager replied, no did you want it re made. After my ma already call and asked so i said Well if you cannot remake it i would just like to be refunded the money back. She gave me the option and i asked for it to be re made therefore she ask the cook to do so and right in front of my face he rolled his eyes and gave me a lousy look! I have been a waitress for as long as I can remember and even on my bad days, I wouldn't do that to a customer. mind you I got there around 7 and they do not close until 9:30. I could not believe it I DEFINITLEY will never be back. Then I tried to let it go but it was bothering me so I called back, and the same lady answered the phone I asked for a manager, and she said she was so I let her know how displeased I was and all she could say was " Thank you I appreciate it"....

Went for dinner and wanted to grab some slices. We ended up with a cornucopia of food. Starting off with the meatballs and garlic bread, cooked nice not too crunchy,no cheese option. The meatballs were good but the sauce... Great!! My friend had a couple slices of pizza. The slices polished off quickly. We moved onto a pepperoni and cheese pizza roll that comes with that delicious sauce again, did you save your bread? The rolls were good but could use more pepperoni. Almost forgot the mozzarella fries, perfect portion for three to share. Dip them in ranch and they are addicting. What's next? Dinner lol of course. Entrees come with soup or salad my friend took the soup, Manhattan clam chowder, whilst I opted for the garden salad with both blue cheese and ranch. Keep now here, the garden salad had generous wedges of tomato and everything else but the best is the dressing container size (I'm a dipper, love my sauces)I had the chicken franchise and my friend the veal parmesan. The chicken was cooked nicely but needed more flavor it was missing the lemon zing, no hint of white wine or capers to be had. The perks (I thought) would lie in the angel hair pasta, yes I said it they offer angel hair 👍. I suggest ordering a side of sauce. Tiramisu takes us to the end of our journey, I've had better, could be a boxed version maybe. All in all everything was a...
