If you're a truck driver be wary of stopping here to get food. I parked on the street right in the front just to be on the safe side.
I did a mobile order for curbside pickup. The app told me to put in a space number so I put in 1, come to find out later 3 or 4 should've been the number I entered..
Anyway, I stood over at the parking space annd waited for someone to come out. O one came out. Then I tried calling the store. Phone rang about 2 mins, no answer. Called again on a separate number and they answered on 2nd ring. I told them I have mobile order and I'm in the parking space waiting. Was told come to the drive thru window and we'll hand you order. So I waited (while social distancing myself from the other cars in drive thru) of to the side, but directly in line with window.. at least 3 or 4 cars was served before I just decided to get behind the last car.
I finally got to the window and they had my order ready. About 25-30 mins had passed since I originally ordered, so I asked if they could make everything fresh. Hesitantly they took order back and remade everything.
Manager proceeds to tell me "next time pull up in your car so we can serve you" He must've missed the whole part of the conversation when I said I'm in an 18 wheeler and im parked in front of store. "Oh you can just pull that in then" No sir, I'd rather not risk tearing up the landscape you have plus lot the parking lot Isn't designed for a 80 foot Semi truck and trailer to maneuver and be able to safely exit. So at this point, I had just said I'll remember for the next time.. and left
Power of the internet. Yes this is wordy but accurate. So again be wary if you're coming in a 18 wheeler...
Read moreWas recently here from out of state visiting family in Jersey. As a splurge, all 14(?) of us did dine-in here. We ordered at the counter, and the young fellow there was polite and attentive. All of our food was brought out to the tables and the entire order was correct. The staff stopped by several times to check on us and also brought extra condiments.
What made this particular visit different was the additional professionalism and quiet self control the staff showed during an unexpected profanity-laden tirade from another guest. Apparently the guest had spilled a soda on herself and somehow this led to her yelling profanities at another guest. Several children were unfortunately present to witness this. We were, as a group ready to leave or call law enforcement.
However, at that point the manager was able to de-escalate the situation in a professional and calm way. The other McDonald's staff had already begun cleaning up the floor and garbage area.
As far as food, McDonald's may not be a high end brand (though the food is reliably made) but the staff here were really excellent and professional. Though they work hard and shouldn't have had to endure this behaviour, the staff did address this unexpected and unfortunate situation calmly and politely.
If I'm back in the area and looking for the classic fish filet and unbeatable fries, I'd bring my business here. It's good to know some people can still behave professionally and take pride...
Read moreBeen there a few times. Sometimes they make errors which I understand. But this last time I was there was the worst service I've ever received from a fast food place. When I get to the window they had the wrong order. Had to tell them what I ordered. No biggie right? Then... The outside of the cups were covered in soda. 3 drinks dripping soda because of loose lids. Sundae had a loose lid, ice cream all over my car on top of soda. Now they only give dual cup carriers. So I'm by myself with multiple dripping, spilling drinks with nowhere to put them. Had to remind them to give me my sundae btw. They said I had everything. Nah. 2 stars because the food was made fine. Service was wild that day though. It was like they threw a new guy in the drive thru and told...
