Super Wok — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

I was running errands yesterday (10.18.2022) and on my way home I still had time to stop and grab something to eat. So, I saw the Super Wok beside the Krogers and thought, why not give it a try. I have had bad luck on Chinese restaurants, the food is horrible, and not only that, they get the order wrong for delivery. As an Asian I know how the food is supposed to taste, I have yet to find a good Chinese restaurant (been to 5 of them). So, I said hope this is good, because it’s really close to our house. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and attended to right away. Asked what would I like to order. Because this was my first time, I told them to give me a second to look at the menu. They gladly waited. I decided I wanted the house fried rice. Let me test that first. If it’s not good, I can easily add the flavor it lacks like the other Chinese restaurants I have ordered from in the Mason/Warren County area. The gentleman taking my order (to go) gave me a cookie to enjoy while I waited for my order. I then gave a $5.00 tip (which I normally tip depending on the size of the order, with any restaurants) and the surprising thing happened. He gave me a snickers bar and bottled water for thanking me because I tipped! Who does that? The cookie was impressive enough (although it was probably store bought cookie, but it was the thought that counted let alone, to give me products I’m sure they sell. Then I asked if they delivered. I was shocked by his answer! No, we are the only restaurant that does not deliver or use Grubhub or door-dash. Whoa! Just like the old times! And that’s when I knew I was going to not only enjoy the house fried rice, that it wasn’t going to need extra soy sauce. It was going to be delicious! And it was! The taste brought back memories of my childhood growing up in the Philippines when my grandmother would cook fried rice. Super Wok has the most authentic fried rice I have ever tasted here in Ohio! I will now go back and try some of the dishes they have on the menu and will give you an honest rating! For now, they are well deserving of a 5 star rating from me. From the food to the customer care and going the extra mile of providing a little token to enjoy while I waited for my order. Which by the way was not...

I absolutely love going to SuperWok! The service is wonderful and everyone is always welcoming and wearing a smile. The young man that works the register and takes the phone orders is always so polite and so helpful! He remembers me and my kids when we come in and he knows what we like to order! He always adds a little treat to our order as well! Weather it be candy, soda, water or cookies! He's so thoughtful!

My husband and I love this restaurant! We typically get sweet and sour chicken, egg roll, fried rice, lo mein, or Crab Rangoon. All delicious. The guy who answers the phone is super friendly and, even though we exclusively order over the phone, he remembers me when I call and even suggests parts of my 'regular order' when I forget to ask for something. It never takes longer than 10 minutes and the food is always good. Also, when we pick up, they always include a few goodies for free - things like cookies, soda & water.
