Fifth's Bar and Arcade — Restaurant in Hammond

Usually go every weekend with no problem. I usually bring 10-15 friends with me and we spend $100+ at the bar ! However, today was the worst experience ever. They took my ID and wouldn’t give it back saying that I’m using someone else’s ID. Bc my friend went in there first to find out the price tonight . We are two different shades and if they looked at her ID and mines they would’ve known it was not the same. I had to download LA wallet thank God I knew my license number to be able to pull up my ID on LA wallet. But I felt racially profiled and I will not be returning back to them. I understand they are just doing their job but it’s not about what you say it’s how you say it and go about it. They do entirely too much and it’s really towards the black people...

Bar is a great place in general, but do NOT waste your money if they claim they are having an "event". My friends and I were looking forward to BRAT night on October 3rd as it was advertised on Instagram to be playing music by popular artists like Chappell Roan, Britney Spears, Sabrina Carpenter, etc. We wasted $20 just for them to not play ANY songs they claimed they would be playing, not to mention they only played typical bar songs that have been the same songs used since 2010. The event felt like a scam to get more people to come and get more money...not an actual event. Not a bad bar but they definitely will scam you...

They don’t offer military free covers like cate & brown door. They’re never jumping . How you gonna charge a cover when no one wants to come to...
