I was visiting Harrisburg for some business appointments, and while wandering around to kill some extra time, I stumbled upon a cozy little restaurant with extremely friendly hosts—CurryZone.
If you’re craving bold flavors and comforting food that truly hits the spot, look no further. This hidden gem brings authentic South Asian cuisine to life with every bite.
I started with the Nepali MoMo. These MoMo are out of this world, juicy, generously filled, and paired with a tangy, spicy dipping sauce that takes them to the next level.
Then I moved on to one of my favorite dishes: the goat curry, an absolute standout. Rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, the meat was tender and flavorful, simmered in a savory sauce that practically begs to be scooped up with their warm, fluffy, thin naan. Every bite was a perfect blend of deep, traditional Nepali flavors—not creamy, not overly filling, just the right amount of spice—leaving me wanting more after every bite.
The Hakka noodles were the perfect finishing touch, “wok tossed” with fresh vegetables and bursting with flavor. They added a delicious Indo-Chinese fusion with Nepali twist of green cilantro that rounded out the meal beautifully.
CurryZone is more than just a restaurant, it is a delightful culinary find tucked away in the outskirts of Harrisburg, in Camp Hill. From start to finish, every dish is crafted with care and passion. I left full, happy, and completely satisfied. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic comfort food in a warm,...
Read moreI live in the Lehigh valley but work in Harrisburg on occasion. Was drawn to the blend of cuisines this restaurant offers. Went there during their grand opening and got takeout. The food held perfectly for the 1.5 hours it took for me to get home. Highly recommend the Chicken lollipops, butter chicken w rice, Grilled Chicken Choila. Everything was delicious. Oh, and the Mango Lassi… THAT did not make it home. I drank it all while I waited for my takeout to be ready. Just SPECTACULAR! If you’re in Harrisburg and vicinity I highly recommend that you visit this place. I will certainly be back to grab more takeout food for the way home to the Lehigh Valley. Thanks for the great service and hospitality. Kindest people...
