China Wok — Restaurant in Hampton

Ordered off of Grubhub. Put in my address said they delivered here, so placed my order and my gps said 3 miles away. Guy called, cussed when my husband told him we lived in newport news and when he delivered he told us not to order here anymore cause we left only 2 or 3$ on a 22$ order and it was seven miles away and was nasty about it. Thats standard 10% tip and its their fault for not correcting their restrictions or contacting grubhub about the delivery restrictions. I have worked for tips and only way my boss ever said something was when nothing was left at all (she was oriental as well) but i was always trained never to complain about a tip cause some people could leave nothing. Very rude had me very upset and im 2.5 months pregnant. Change your delivery area and stop shaming your customers and telling them not to call anymore when we didnt even call! However honey chicken wings and chicken pancit with egg was very delicious. But because of this one and only experience with their customer service i wont even order for a pick up. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered through Grubhub and received the wrong food. After calling the restaurant I was transferred to the “owner” a record EIGHT TIMES. The “owner” was a voice mailbox. The patrons refused to send me the correct food and I was forced to go to the restaurant myself to rectify it. After explaining the situation the worker still looked through my order to confirm it was incorrect (thank god I brought it or I guess they wouldn’t have cared). After seeing it was wrong, she said she would not replace the food even though the entire order was cold and soggy at this point. After hounding her, she agreed that if we paid for our order again we could get everything redone. Long story short, this place delivers lackluster food and even worse service. Got delivery. Asked for mushroom beef and add string beans and it had 4 other veggies in it. (The string beans were really crunchy and the mushrooms weren’t cooked all the way either) I asked for no rice for my meal but my husband’s meal to have rice . No rice I asked for chop sticks and no chop sticks and didn’t get fortune cookies either. The egg drop soup had massive eggs in it just clumped together. The wonton soup had little meat in the wontons. Just disappointed. The chicken teriyaki was burnt and dry and the fries were burnt and hard.I called and told the person on the phone what was wrong with my food and he argued with me and told him there was no rice for the second meal and he asked if I was sure.
