So I will start off by saying I love me some Jersey Mike's. I am a regular customer and have referred them to friends and family. This location has been a bit below the normal standards I've seen at all other locations. Today was the worst experience by far. When I walked in there was no one in line so I was able to order pretty quickly. The grilled subs portion of my order took quite awhile. I'm pretty sure they were were prepping the online orders that came in after I ordered before even starting mine. That made sense when I got home and my one sub that was supposed to be a chicken Philly was a steak and cheese instead. The part that really got to me was right when I was going to leave. I looked in the bag and noticed that the juices I asked for on the side weren't in the bag. So I approached the counter and asked the girl who took my order for the juices. She grabs one from the back counter, takes a couple steps towards the front counter, and under hand tosses the juices into my bag. Pretty sure she seemed to do it as if she was irritated that I asked for it. I nearly commented about it but I bit my lip. So when I got home I realized that the lid to the juices had not been secured properly. Yeah I had vinegar and oil all over my subs. Safe to say this was my worst experience at any Jersey Mike's. Read moreI love the sandwiches at the Hampton Coliseum location however I do not like when you request curbside service they do not honor your request and you can never call into the store to speak to someone because the line is not open for incoming calls it always ring busy. This is a pandemic and I always request curbside because the store is always full with more than the capacity that is set. I made an order on 11/13/20 and requested curbside and waited outside for a while with no assistance from any employee , I began to blink my headlight(being parked right in front of the door) and I was ignored so I blew the horn and they all stood their kilogram deer in headlights. I request if someone could come so I can tell them I was there for curbside service and no one moved. I was upset because now I have to face what I have been trying to avoid. I had to go into the store and when I told them I placed an order for curbside I was told they never had curbside by someone that I have never seen at that store since me going there and picking up curbside since March. This too angered me because this was someone calling me a liar in front of all the guest in the restaurant. Read moreOn 04/02/2023 my husband and myself went to this sub shop. We had been there before, but I was very disappointed at the fact that the young man waiting on me today was cleaning the counter and emptying the container with the discarded vegetables (where the sandwiches were being made) and he decided to touch my husband's sandwich without changing gloves. I asked him not to touch the sandwich before he changed his gloves, but he said he did not hear me(I was wearing a mask). My husband was very upset and said he did not want the sandwich. Another sandwich was made, but the point is, common sense would tell you change your gloves after doing what he did . We went to be seated and the table had crumbs on it, the floor had crumbs on it as well. I sanitized our table before we ate. The wheat bread was stale. I only ate there because we had somewhere else to go. The sanitary conditions under which some of the staff operate is not good when it comes to handling food. The meat cutter is not cleaned between the different meats you use , the counter where sandwiches are made is full of the lettuce and vegetables from previous sandwiches made, and the staff seems to think when you put on a pair of gloves, they are meant to be worn all day no matter what you do.
