This place has a lot to offer, with some work needing to be done. The interior (and exterior) are beautifully decorated, the bathroom is clean, and the buffet area well kept and cleaned by a bus boy on a continuous rotation. The service staff, although lacking in a clear understsnding of the American - English language, is very respectful and very attentive. Drinks were never empty for more than a few moments, and we were seated within a couple minutes of entering.
The buffet food can be a hit and miss. I tried a wide variety of the food and found most (if not all) of the food was tasty, warm/cold (respectively to the food), and always clearly labeled. There were a couple of dishes that did taste old or "reheated" (sesame chicken), and the sushi is NOT prepared as ordered. It is made as a roll probably an hour before hand, and placed on ice. Any sensible sushi enthusiast will tell you that is the worst way to present sushi.
Dessert was especially tasty, with emphasis on their homemade carrot cake. A wide variety offers anything to anyone's pallet.

Read moreThe place was clean—that’s the nicest thing I can say. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was free. The menu said white rice, but the lady said it’s yellow. Then when I said, “never mind,” she suddenly offered to make the fried rice white. Huh?
I thought I ordered catfish because that is how big the … flatten shrimp where. Yuck. Everything was so bad we only tried one thing we ordered. The skewers looked suspicious (definitely not normal), and we found one shrimp in the eggrolls—like a sad game of hide and seek.
The chicken? Even our dogs sniffed it and ran the other way. Not joking.
We dropped $45 on food that went straight to the trash. Never again. Definitely writing reviews everywhere so others don’t make the same mistake. You want honest there...
Read moreNot good. The restaurant was clean enough but the food pretty much sucked. The sushi selection was an absolute joke and what they had was horrible. The sushi rice was all jacked up and they had literally ONE piece of tuna nigiri on the buffet. The regular food side wasn't much better. The shrimp had been sitting out so long they were more of a jerky style and inedible. Most of the other foods were way overseasoned and the ice cream bar had wet nasty cups. The only good thing i found was the chicken on a stick. I didn't go at an off time either, it was 6:30 on a sunday evening. at $12 with drink I'm...
