Ok. The Mac'n cheese was pretty good. You can tell that they use real cheese in it. The Wing Dings were a little over cooked. They were smothered in BBQ sauce. Which is not bad but the sauce tasted pretty generic. It was OK sauce. It was more sweet than savory BBQ. I asked for brisket since they have it in the Google review picture. It's not on the menu. The host said they were out. Next week they would have some, he said. He said that the lamb price was the same for brisket even though brisket is not on the menu. The floors have not been mopped. The entire place smelled dirty. I've never been to a BBQ place that didn't smell like the smoke you use to smoke the food. The host, Mohammed was a great and nice guy. Went to this place for lunch. Never again food was horrible nothing was fresh all warm not hot. I ordered mac& cheese greens fried chicken and yams $22. I called back to let them know I wanted my money back. Left me on hold I called a couple more times no answer. Called from another number then answered. The young men ask why food was horrible. I'm in a nice way letting him know he hangs up. But all good I want be back here no more and I don't recommend any one esle after been treated disrespected. Me and my Husband went here a few weeks ago. And let me tell you, we couldn't wait until this soul food restaurant opened up. We walked in to see what they had, they had a nice of variety of food. I order the beef rib dinner with mac-n-cheese and greens and I ordered they grape 😎 aid lol😄 it was so good.
