Wendy's — Restaurant in Handy Township

I came in thinking I was going to get a Dave's Double, but changed my mind when I saw the avacado BLT chicken sandwich on the board. I also asked to have my fried "well done"

After ordering I made a custom drink on the Coke machine and grabbed a cup lid to put ketchup on. The ketchup dispenser shot ketchup straight out and onto my shirt as the end redirect plug was gone. Took me a minute to sort of clean my shirt and the mess. Not happy.

Set my stuff on my table and went to get my sandwich and fries and mentioned the ketchup issue to the order taker. "somebody probably stole it, ha ha" not the response I was expecting or hoping for. "Oh, that's terrible I am so sorry, I'll get someone to fix that immediately" was more what I'd hoped for, but that didn't happen.

Sat down and ate my sandwich. No avacado, just guac. Chicken was grilled, flat, kind of disappointing, I probably should have opted for a fried version. The fries however were well done, very hot and the high point of my visit.

Other customers were making orders when I cleared my tray. Nothing was being done with the ketchup dispenser. Took a photo and decided not to announce a warning to my fellow patrons. Maybe more complaints by other customers would be more effective.

Another Wendy's I will now be avoiding. Both Wendy's and BK seem to have this problem where poor training is making a big difference to my experience. Taco Bell, McDonald's or even Checkers dont seem to have this problem.

I'll have to wait a while for that next Dave's Double. Arby's make a pretty good spicy...

Went through the drive thru today to get a Decaf Diet Coke. I sat in line for 15 minutes to get up to the window. She handed my my drink and it looked like iced tea. Very pale brown. When I questioned it, she said "That is what comes out of the machine" Well maybe you should check the machine, this is so watered down it does not taste like Coke. Oh and I had to pay $3.49 for a large watered down drink. This used to be a great fast food joint, but not anymore.

I was the only customer and I stood at the counter for almost 4 minutes watching a tall, thin dark haired young lady with glasses clean the food area, around the fries and over by the grill. The window server walked by and said hi, a couple other employees said hi but no one ever offered to help or tell anyone to help me. The girl with the glasses looked at me a couple of times but ignored me. I finally left as it appeared they did not want my business. Sounds good to me, no more trips to this Wendy's. ...

What I ordered: 2 Apple Pecan salads, a small fry, and a small Coke.

What I got: 2 Apple Pecan Salads (with no pecans or salad dressing) and a small coke (with no straw)...nor were there any plastic utensils or napkins. They didn't include the small fry. Fortunately I noticed this before driving away and told the guy working the second window before I left. He got the fries for me. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home before I noticed they didn't include the pecans or the salad dressing. I had to go back to the restaurant to get them.

You almost never get your order right along with all napkins, plastic utensils, etc. any more at fast food restaurants. I guess these jobs are too complex for your average young person coming out of today's "woke" indoctrination mills...
