Geta Xpress Japanese — Restaurant in Hanford

Getaxpress was recommended to me by a co-worker who swore by them so I was obviously expecting the place to at least be decent.

First red flag was when my 4 sushi rolls came out 1 giant container, something I've never seen before and seemed just kind of lazy and since it was being shared I had to ask for extra containers in case of left overs.

I ended up eating about half a roll and left the rest. They LOADED the rolls up with sauce to the point that the deep fried roll was completely soggy and had practically no crunch left. The sauce was also way too sweet, to the point that it made me sick to think about eating more.

I'm not sure if it was the sauces or the sushi itself but something didn't sit well with me and I felt sick the entire rest of the evening after eating here. To top it off the rolls were cut poorly/not...

We have been coming here for years. Over 20 years for sure. We came to order here recently (twice in the last week) and the quality of the food has gone so down hill and the employees give zero craps account the quality of food they are kicking out. Owners you should really do quality control or secret shoppers when you are not around because your employees are failing your business. The fried rice tasted like the meat like it sat out all day, hard and dry. Chow mein absolutely no flavor. Geta chicken what you are famous for is not what it use to be. Others have complained about missing items and I don’t even want to know how the raw sushi is handled there. I will always support your business but please look into the quality or else people will eventually...

Family was in the mood for sushi but didn't want to dine-in. Found Geta Xpress and decided to give it a try.

The convenience of drive-thru sushi is great but it comes with some catches.

The food here is good but very overpriced for the portion sizes. 3 meals equaled out to 60$ or so. Portion sizes being on the smaller side. The secondary down side was the wait. There is nothing "xpress" about the wait time. When in line expect to wait a while and there are even paper signs posted stating the food is worth the wait because the wait time is long.

If you're just looking for that one time solution to a craving and some convenience this is the place. I would not make it consistent because of the wait time...
