I would recommend Giordano's to a friend or colleague, but not the Streamwood, IL location. I went there today around 11:45am. The store manager Natalie was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I now live in the eastern time zone. I placed an order to pick up for an hour ahead by accident. When I got there the host could not find my order and got the manager. I noticed I entered the wrong pickup time, but I offered to come back, and I asked if it was possible could be make at that time since was there since people do walk-in orders all the time. The manager kept saying she could not find my order. Then all of a sudden, she said she found it. We reviewed my order and one of the pizza's was supposed to have pepperoni. I asked her if I could add it and she said she has to go by the order. There was no one eating in the restaurant. A couple of people came to pick up pre-ordered pizzas. No lunch rush. They could have fulfilled my order sooner or cancelled and let me place a new order. She was not trying to be helpful. She was snippy and had a bad attitude. I did not like the nastiness and asked that she cancel the order entirely. She said she can. When I asked for a receipt to show cancellation, she said she could not give me one. I told her I need something to show my order was cancelled. She got nasty and told me to walk into the manager's office with her to watch her cancel it. This whole time I was on the phone with my sister who overheard the disgusting behavior of that "manager". She was making rude remarks and speaking to me as if I am an idiot. Then all of a sudden, she was able to print a receipt to show it was cancelled. I took my receipt and walked out. I said a curse word to her because I did not appreciate how she was treating me and the experience. As I was walking out she told me not to come back ever again. I told her she cannot dictate that, and I will come back if I choose to. She said no I will not. This was all as I was leaving the establishment. This is not the first time I have experienced negative behavior from Natalie. I am convinced this is racially related. I have frequented this establishment since my teenage years, and it has gone downhill tremendously. If you support behavior like Natalie's, I cannot...
Read moreI'm a huge Giordano's fan, but not of this location. We ordered two pizzas to-go on Friday night. One of the pizzas was a thin crust with green olives and pepperoni ON TOP OF THE CHEESE. I must have said it about 3x to the phone clerk to PLEASE put the pepperoni on top of the cheese. He said "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it here. On top of the cheese." We pick up our pizza around 8:30PM, I get home, and surprise, the pepperoni is under the cheese. At this point, it's 9PM, I'm pregnant, tired, have an angry tired toddler who is up past her bedtime and I'm not going to eat this pizza. I called Giordano's right away and asked to just get a refund because I wasn't going to eat the pizza... First, they wanted to give a credit. I said "No, thank you. I live half an hour away. I never really go toward Streamwood on a regular basis." Second, they wanted me to come out and pick up a new pizza. Again, no thank you, I have an angry toddler, I'm exhausted, and I'm pregnant. I'm not driving another hour roundtrip. Last, they wanted to deliver me another pizza, which would arrive at 10:15PM... Which would be beyond the point because I'm hungry NOW, not in 1.25 hours. I ended up finally get transferred to a manager and I'm like "Listen, I'm not going to eat this pizza. I can send you guys a picture of this pizza to show you that I'm not lying and the pepperoni is, in fact, under the cheese. I just want a refund because I hardly ever go out that way and the likelihood of me coming back to this Giordano's is very low. If you guys want the pizza back, I can put it on the porch and you guys can pick up and take it back. It's not even touched." The manager says "No, I believe you, but there is no way for me to do a partial refund on an order." I find that VERY HARD to believe. So I was offered a cash refund, which now I have to drive one hour roundtrip, pregnant and with a toddler in the car by myself, to go pick up.
It just seems like they will do anything to not refund your money. And if you insist on the refund, they will make it as inconvenient as possible for you to get your money...

The place is super clean, comfortable and casual. Of all the G’s we’ve been to in the last 30 years Streamwood G’s reign’s supreme for everything takeout , delivery and dining there. Orders are always correct, food is always hot when it arrives and the quality is 100% consistent everytime! Thanks Mikala for excellent service and the manager for lending me a hand making the pizza stretch video! —————— Their thin crust pizza is just as good as their Chicago style pizza! We always order pizzas from this Giordano’s location as they always seem to make the pizza perfectly the way we request and it’s piping hot whether delivered or pickup. We tried 1/2 pesto chicken and it was delicious!! Stick with the best pizza and leave alone the rest! ———- Chicago stuffed pizza from Giordano’s Streamwood location is always excellent. We did the online ordering carryout and it was pretty streamlined. I signed up for their club and received a free entree size salad with the pizza which was great. The pizza had decent amount of fresh spinach and ground beef along with the tomato sauce on the top. I like that the tomatoes are pulpy and not all spices up! You get the true flavor of the tomatoes and they just marry well with the rest if they ingredients. Their salads are always fresh and their lemon vinegar dressing tastes very light and bright. Winner for dinner any day! —— I usually get delivery but we had company in town so we dined in. Best idea. The calamari & artichoke plate for appetizer was really good. Very good and generous portion for 4 of us. The pizza came out piping hot and didn’t disappoint. I may start dining in as the pizza tasted much better and the bottom didn’t get soggy either. After having Giordano’s at many locations, I have to say the Streamwood location is the winner for best...
