Server Nicole or kitchen staff need to be retrained on timeliness from appetizer/salads to entree. I really wanted to enjoy tonight at P.J. Whelihan's Pub off of Shoenerville Rd parking lot shared with a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Bethlehem PA. Server Nicole mentioned that they were offering their 5 for 5 wings at 5:45pm, so my wife ordered a ceasar salad then a Keto Fajita Bowl with Chicken. I took advantage of the 5 for 5 wings as and appetizer then a cheese burger with fries. Server Nicole did ask how I would like my burger and I said medium. At 6:08pm (23 minutes after initial order) we received my wife's ceasar salad and wings dipped in flour by a food runner. I was surprised that my wings were dipped in flour because Server Nicole did not say there was an option of wings with flour or naked wings; I would have preferrred the naked wings. Server Nicole did come over after and I said that I thought they would have been not dipped in flour, she replied "Oh yea they are", I thought they were very dry and if I had known I would have asked for the naked wings, but since it took 23 minutes to get the ceasar salad and 5 wings I decided to stay with the wings. Less than 5 minutes later Server Nicole brought out my wife's Keto Fajita Bowl with Chicken and my burger with fries. Server Nicole said "Oh look the kitchen already had them done". Now I am not sure if we were being rushed to eat everything to turn the table, but my wife had just started to eat her ceasar salad and I just started to eat one out of five wings. I asked Server Nicole to bring back our meals so we can finish the salad and five wings (hot) first. She did, but in less than five minutes Server Nicole asked again if she can bring our meals out, and I asked for one minute. Well within one minute she brought out our meals. What a shame to not care for the guest experience at P.J. Whelihan's Pub it was very rushed and needless to say my burger was not medium it was well done. We will not be back, but we gave Server Nicole every opportunity to make sure we had a great experience, but it failed. Read moreCame here on 2 different occasions both late Saturday evenings around 8/9pm. Both times same server. First time we ordered apps and main meals… our apps came out literally 2 seconds before our meals arrived. If I would have known that I would be waiting the same amount of time for an app as I would have for my meal, I probably would have skipped the app honestly. Appetizers are supposed to be food that you pick on while WAITING for your meal. Server was not very attentive after food was delivered and we were waiting for awhile before she checked in to ask how everything came out. My partners burger was missing the toppings she had requested when we initially ordered. Food was good so we came back a second time for a late dinner. Second experience was terrible. Ordered apps that never arrived, nor did the server “realize” it until our entrees came and I brought it to her attention. She kindly apologized and still offered for the kitchen to make it for us but at that point I declined. My fiancé’s burger came out well done instead of medium rare & overall our burgers were extremely salty. I did mention something to the server after eating a good portion of it, she offered to have them remake my order or to order something else on the menu, at that point it was pretty late so I declined. She was nice enough to comp one of the meals. Being that I have previously worked as a server I still left a 20% tip based off of the cost of what the food would have originally totaled besides the apps we didn’t get. The way the food came out wasn’t the servers fault, but honestly as a server she should have realized that we never received our appetizer as she was the one bringing our food to the table. Server was extremely kind which I appreciated, but seemed to lack the proper training necessary for the position. Read moreSome of the worst service I’ve had in a really long time. We arrived with a pretty large group, we had the room to the left of the bar reserved for a going away party. We arrived at about 3:30, came in and my family only ordered 2 cokes and 2 kids drinks and an order of famous fries. As others arrived, there was no wait staff present for about 30 minutes. We waited a little while for people to place their drink orders but at 4:30 I had to walk out into the restaurant to ask someone to find whoever was waiting on us because it had been an hour and we still didn’t have our French fries. Finally, a server came in. She didn’t know why we didn't get our fries so she reordered them and we ordered a kids slider basket. It’s 5:15 as I type this in the restaurant, it’s been about 30 minutes, we have no kids sliders, we were never asked or offered a refill. We had to find our server and explained we ordered kids sliders we never received and she said, “they probably weren’t put in”. Oh ok great. So, it took 20 minutes to get sodas, 1 hour and 15 minutes and 2 waitresses to get an order of fries, and we never got our kids meal. So, we then had to go find the waitress to cash out, we give her our card and she hands my husband the bill to sign and it was $91 because she had us pay for the wrong bill.
