Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Hapeville

Used catering for this Schlotzsky's location in Hapeville on several occasions and myself and my Team here at FedEx Express Trucking Dept in Hapeville are never disappointed. I placed a catering order online on 11/12/24 for the same day pick up and when I placed me order online the online available pick up time was from 0200-0215pm. Pleas keep in mind my meeting was to start at 12 noon until 2pm. I arrived at the restaurant to speak with the manager and was greeted with a smile as usual by Abel Luis Ortiz at the front counter. After explaining me situation to him, he didn't hesitate to tell me that it will not be an issue with he and his staff getting us ready. We waited maybe 20 minutes and everything that I ordered online was packed up and ready to go in time for my 12 noon meeting. The broccoli and cheese soup was tasteful and fresh as well as both the Caesar/garden salads. The bread was soft and freshly baked and the mixed hot sandwich platters were delicious. They made sure that we had all condiments on the side as I requested. We here at FedEx want to thank all of the staff at this Hapeville location for always providing awesome customer service and they do it with a smile! The worst Schlotzsky's I have been to as far as customer service!

Me and my 10 and 8 year old children at about 7:45pm:

This kid's pizzas came out first, which is perfectly fine but they are DRY! Both kids agreed they wouldn't order the pizza again.

The guy goes back to get my plate, drops my ticket on the floor, picks it up and proceeds to PUT IT ON MY PLATE in between his thumb and my sandwich. My "hot" sandwich is cold but would have been returned for a fresh one anyway, due to the ticket issue listed above. I ask they guy for another sandwich, he gives it to the line cook (or whatever she's called) and she just runs it back through the oven, lettuce and all! I ask for a fresh sandwich, she looks at me, jerks the food up and aggressively throws it away while saying something in a different language. She fixes me a fresh, clean sandwich and I think all is well.

My daughter gets to her apple slices and they're brown! We ask for fresh non-brown apple slices - the same line cook cuts a fresh apple so aggressively that I can hear her knife hitting the cutting board all the way at my table, my daughter received her fresh cut apples but it was half the amount as initially.

I should have reviewed this place a long time ago. Aside from the food being consistently GOOD....They literally NEVER mess up my order. 3 years I've been going here and not one error. And then there's the service. You can hear the smile on their face at the drive-thru speaker, and there's never a wait time. Even when there's people in line in front of me, they get them out so fast it's like there was never a line. It's been like this for 3 years. I can't think of any other establishment in any of the 4 states that I've lived in that can top this restaurants consistently good quality. Pandemic and all, They are there, spreading good food and...
