Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Harborcreek Township

We went to Applebees for date night and have always had good service. We got seated promptly and we waited about 10 minutes to get greeted. It happens, but there was no one there. Lots of empty tables and barely anyone at the bar. Our server Michelle K was very unpleasant and had no hospitality skills. She didn’t even tell us her name all she asked what do you guys want to drink. We only found out her name from our receipt. We ordered our drinks and they came quickly. We ordered an appetizer, the classic combo, all of which was cooked properly and well. Then our food came and my steak was dry, my mashed potatoes were cold and I didn’t even get my side of broccoli. My boyfriend’s burger was pink when he asked for no pink and was barely edible. Our server also didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauce or drinks when dropping our food off. After paying the bill I asked to speak to a manger about the quality of my food. Upon speaking with her she was very nice and offered to get me a new steak and sides. When my food was done our server dropped it off my throwing it on the table and saying is that everything? I am absolutely appalled by my experience, I get that sometimes things need to be cooked longer/mistakes are made. But to not even care about the experience your customers are having, mind you they are PAYING customers, is ridiculous. I am debating on not even returning to this location. I did tip her because I know that servers live off tips but she DID NOT deserve one. If I could give my experience 0...

This was the worst experience I've ever had at this Applebees. The best part was the mozzarella sticks. We were seated in a section where people were already sitting at 4 other tales. After being seated, our waitress, Kandi C, walked past our table 3 times prior to taking a drink order. There were 4 of us at the table so we ordered 2 of the 2 for $20 special and got 2 cedar grilled chicken and 2 caprese mozzarella chicken. We chose cheese sticks and spinach artichoke dip as the appetizers. When they brought the plates out the top one was dirty so we had to send it back. The chips for the spinach and artichoke dip were cold and stale. 2 other waitresses brought out the entrees. The 2 cedar grilled chickens were perfect. The mashed potatoes under the caprese mozzarella chicken were cold, the actual chicken was lukewarm, and the cheese on top of everything was hard. I sent it back and refused another meal as I did not have time to wait. The waitress walked by at least 6 times (I stopped counting because I was getting irritated) before bringing our receipts. The management staff did adjust my receipt so I only paid for what I ate. Even though all of this was bad, the waitress did the rudest thing I've ever seen. When she handed my coworker his receipt and card, she stood in front of him and waited for him to complete filling it the slip. I've never had service like...

Went here for dinner on a Sunday late afternoon. Was seated promptly and waited for a server....and waited and waited. There were two waitresses standing around the hostess station. I asked one of the waitress' if we could get some water. They both looked at me like I was crazy, said they would get someone and beelined it for the doors to the kitchen. No water for and no server. I finally flagged down another waitress and asked to see the manager. The manager showed up just as a server finally showed. We ordered our drinks and spoke to the manager who gave us an excuse about our waiter being busy. I told her about the two waitresses that ignored my request for drinks and she did not seem to care. We finally ordered food. Waiter had to go ask somebody the price of a side order of broccoli. The price is not on the menu. Finally got our dinners( chicken was overcooked). Our waiter did a good job considering he seemed to be the only person busy in a sparsely populated restaurant. Service in this place has been bad as of late and now the food is not being properly prepared. It will be quite a while before we return...
