I truly wasn’t impressed. My experience did not reflect other reviews AT ALL. From the moment we were seated, we waited for approximately 30-45 minutes for bar drinks. I’m sorry but I can’t seem to process where exactly it makes sense to conduct a trial and error training especially when it comes to food, during full operational hours. It would make more sense to have a happy hour where the test food/drinks made by trainees match the price point. Where is it ok to produce a mediocre item for full price?! There was a swarm of gnats in our area where we were seated and it was so disgustingly annoying, they kept landing on the napkin roll and would hover over the food and drinks, this was unacceptable. The meatball appetizer might as well have been beef jerky covered in sauce, it was dry! Think a mouthful of chocolate krispies, no milk. Okay, then, the kicker; we ordered the heights pizza(per the menu, it has pesto) we communicated to the server that if we could have the pesto on the side and replace the pizza sauce with marinara, due to a nut allergy at the table. So we’re waiting and 75% of the ordered food is brought to the table, that other 25% that had yet to come was yup you guessed it, the heights pizza. Reason being: it had been made with the pesto and so it had to be remade, so some more waiting with the gnats flying around eating dry meatballs cause why ask for a remake of something when a drink already took 30-45 mins to make and it was hardly occupied. Maybe get some more servers. The server comes around to tell us we would receive a discount(very vague also, but that’s my fault for not assessing and requesting detailed information regarding the discount). Then she comes around again with a plate of wings and practically shoves these non intentionally made wings for US (they were probably a mistake order of wings) and asks if we want the wings or the discount, we opted for the discount. Lastly, birthday celebratory shots were ordered, I’m not sure what frills and thrills yall are ATTEMPTING to create in this subpar establishment; but leave the shenanigans to the bars. Yall could’ve left the shots NEAT. And finally, the ticket comes and the discount is only $4. LOL. Honestly, this place wasn’t it. Overall, I was completely displeased, wouldn’t recommend, and would most definitely...
Read moreWe went to The Heights Pizzeria and Brewhouse in the Market Heights shopping center in Harker Heights for lunch on a Tuesday around 12 noon. There were only a few customers, and we were seated right away. Our server, Courtney, was awesome. She was friendly and attentive and just fun to chat with.
Since this was our first time here, we decided to try several items. We got the Chicken Wings as an appetizer. It came with eight pieces, and we got half with buffalo sauce and half with Thai chili sauce and we ordered the wings extra crispy. The wings are a little pricey since you only get 8 pieces for $13.49, but they were meaty for wings and perfectly cooked. We liked both sauces. We also got an Italian Hero sandwich. The sandwich actually came out before the wings, but that was okay with us. The sandwich was good, and we both liked it, but at $9.49, it didn’t blow us away. It had a good flavor with subtle spiciness and the bread was good. Lastly, we got the Presidente pizza. You can get a “Giant” slice, 10” Gluten Free pie, or a 14” pie. We got the 14” pie, which is the size of a typical medium pizza (at $20.49, it’s priced like a typical large pizza!). The crust and toppings were good, but there was almost no sauce on the pizza, so it was a little dry. If they didn’t skimp on the sauce, this would be a great pizza.
The service and the atmosphere were very good, and we will go again. Like most places these days, eating out can be pricey, and Heights Pizzeria is no exception. Our lunch (without drinks) was close to $50 with tax. But I believe it is worth stopping and giving them a try. I recommend the wings and if you like sauce on your pizza, I recommend that you ask for...

Let me begin by saying this: if every dining experience were as divine as the one we had tonight, Michelin would run out of stars.
The moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted not just by the comforting aroma of bubbling cheese and wood-fired perfection—but by Olivia, our server, who could singlehandedly restore your faith in hospitality. She wasn’t just good; she was the kind of good that makes you wonder if she owns the place.
Olivia moved with a grace that can only be described as pizza ballet—anticipating needs before they were spoken, refilling drinks before we even realized they were low, and somehow managing to make us feel like the only table in the world.
And the pizza? Oh, the pizza. Crispy crust with the perfect chew. Sauce so balanced it could teach a masterclass. Cheese melted into pure harmony. Each bite was a standing ovation for whoever crafted it.
But the truth is, it was Olivia’s warmth and charm that turned this from a good meal into a memorable experience. Her energy was infectious, her timing impeccable, and her smile—honestly, it should be trademarked.
If you’re wondering whether to eat here, stop wondering. Go. Order the pizza. Ask for Olivia. You’ll leave full, happy, and mildly emotional about how good life can be when someone truly cares about their craft.
Bravo, Olivia. Bravo.
