Whataburger — Restaurant in Harker Heights

Worst customer service EVER! Went through the drive through to grab a quick lunch for me and my son since we were running behind. Ordered our food went to the window and paid. She gave me our food and then turned around. I had to ask her for our drinks and she looked confused. Got the drinks and drove around the corner in the parking lot to get my son his food. I looked in the bag and the order was totally messed up. Not wanting to deal with it I parked and my son and I went inside to get a refund. I set the bag and drinks on the counter and asked to speak to the manager. Out waddles the most obese black lady I have ever seen. Kristy (or Krisy) asked me what I wanted. I told her they messed up my order and I wanted a refund. She immediately got an attitude and said she didn't have to take that from me and that I was being rude. I told her she hasn't seen rude yet. She snatched the bag off of the counter and threw it in the back and then just stood there. I told her I didn't have all day and she needed to hurry up. She said fine then I'm not going to do the refund at all. I asked her "So you are going to steal my money?" and she said I needed to leave. I ended up having to call the police to get my money back and apparently I am not allowed back on the premises for a year. Basically they stole from me and I'm the one who is not allowed to go there. Rarely do I ever have only negative issues to talk about. On the day of my visit, all I could think about was a meal here. I was heading to Temple. I needed to get my Whataburger "Fix". Under most circumstances I consider this a treat. When ordering my food, it took a while waiting in line. The guy taking the order outside was really nice. That's the end of the good issues. After ordering I waited in line for an extremely long time. I wanted to pull through and just leave without my order. I was trapped in the line and could not do such a thing, plus I had already paid. I could have stopped at other places however I regrettably stopped here. After an excruciating wait. I was in line at the actual window. I was worried about making my appointment in Temple by this time. I received my order without a word nor smile from the girl in the window. I pulled onto the highway. Started to eat the fries they were cold. I sipped my drink, and it was Dr. Pepper, not Diet Coke as I had ordered. The burger was cold. Cold enough the cheese wasn't even melting. I wonder how many other people had the same issues. Sorry about the long explanation, however this is really what happened. It took me awhile to think of what to say about this visit.
