Online Order placed at 5:29pm. Order number 68. Arrived at Popeyes restaurant at approximately 5:42pm. She counted at least 6 employees, including what it look like a shift supervisor/manager (Asian, blonde hair, not orange color t-shirt). My wife heard orders called went from 66 to 70s. Skipping her order. When my wife inquired about her order she was ignored and never spoken to. She witnessed all working personnel extremely slow, no purpose, no care of customers. At approximately 6:20pm the food part of the order was bagged and tossed/pushed on the counters without saying a word. My wife inquired about the drink in which without verbally acknowledging, the lady obtained the drink and tossed/pushed the drink on the counter making it flipped and nearly getting the drink on my wife. If it wasn't for my wife stepping back, my wife would have the drink on her. The employee went and got another drink from the drive-thru area. And did the same only this time, it didn't flipped. However, the employee never apologized for nearly getting the drink on my wife nor the delay. My wife was never verbally acknowledged. The lady was young (probably teenage years), small set, black, approximately 5'7", black and reddish hair/hair pieces. Person with t-shirt different than everyone else was short, Asian with blond hair.
Following day I went to talk to the manager. I was introduced to Jenn (which coincidentally fits the description of the person with different t-shirt, Asian and blond hair). We talked, I asked if she was the store manager and she replied she was covering down as store manager because they have had not store manager for about a month. The conversation went well. She said she didn't work yesterday during that time frame (5:30pm - 6:20pm).
I asked what is the normal process to an employee that disrespects customers in that manner. She said she was going to write her up.
I assume retraining will be part of course of correction.
I do hope the store owner cares about his/her restaurant, as well as the regional manager and corporate.
Due to the disrespect I am still going to contact corporate and post reviews on every platform for this...
Read moreI decided to go to Popeyes and I used the drive-thru. I waited behind 1 single car for about 10 minutes. All the other cars in front got their food and left. Once the car in front of us placed their order, they drove forward got their food and left. No one said anything through the speaker. No, "We will be right with you. Sorry about the wait" Nothing!
While I was waiting, I noticed 3 workers in their cars and other workers going in and out to their cars.
I waited another 10 minutes. I got no response when I spoke into the speaker multiple times. I then drove around and went inside. There was about 4 people waiting for food inside but no one in line. So I approached the counter. There was about 9-10 workers, including a supervisor and manager behind the counter. Not one of them seemed to have any sense of urgency. I noticed the drive-thru worker was the one taking orders to customers outside. I assume this is why the drive-thru orders were taking so long. I waited about 5 minutes inside. No one even looked at me or acknowledged my presence. I turned tail and left.
I went over to KFC, was greeted at the drive-thru IMMEDIATELY by a nice lady. I had my food within 4 minutes of ordering.
Popeyes, you are literally known for having absolutely GARBAGE service. It's been known for years. So why not fix it? When you have lazy, unaware managers.. the ones under them are going to be even worse. You need to replace the management and half the workers in that place.. and probably all of the other...

First experience and last, have not ate at popeyes before this. May 10th, ordered over $200 worth of food for a birthday ahead of time. Get to the restaurant to pick up the order that says it's ready, only to be told they are out of chicken sandwiches, and the fish sandwich is no longer available since the sandwiches were alot of the order we decided to cancel but had to go through a third party because it was through the app. So I did that and was denied the cancel and my money was not going to be returned. So I get the managers number which is Stephanie, finally get a hold of her on Sunday let her know what happened and she told me they were not out of the sandwiches so undoubtedly the employees didn't want to make the food, which was not even ready when we got there, only to be told it would probably be better to dispute or a credit at the store, didn't want the credit because we were not going back, of course my bank denies the dispute because I told the truth that it was me and my card. Got ahold of Stephanie again she gives me her boss's number, gave her all the info and no response, and till this day they have ignored me and won't do the right thing. Of course they don't have an actual corporate number to reach out to anyone else. Just do the right thing, like I just go around buying $200 worth of food...
