Happy Wok — Restaurant in Harlem Township

Close to home and everyone in the house will eat something from here. Great option in a pinch. Every one of these is run different and the food can taste completely different from location to location. To my bunch,This location makes the dishes we eat much better than the others. The only complaint I would mention is for carry out they always tell you it'll be ready in 10-15 minutes but if you go there 20 minutes later the food still isn't ready... Every time! You go in, pay, then see them all scrambling ounce youve paid to make it real fast..I swear, If you order carry out It's like they absolutely won't make the food until they physically see you at the counter paying. It has always been off-putting. It comes off like they're worried to death you aren't going to come pick up your order so they don't want to possibly make something they won't get paid for lol. The result is when picking up carry out you end up standing there in the lobby for an extra 5 to 10 minutes(at the longest) no matter what time they tell you. If I ever go to pick up my order and it is bagged and ready when I walk in then I will upgrade...

One evening, craving Chinese takeout, I eagerly ordered my favorite dishes. Anticipation turned to dismay as I opened the containers; an off-putting smell hinted at trouble. My usual savory delights were unrecognizable—oily, rubbery textures and an overpowering, rancid taste left me shocked. Attempting a bite proved futile; the food was inedible.

Disappointment washed over me as I tossed the entire meal. The anticipation had built up so much, only to be met with such profound dissatisfaction. It wasn't just about the wasted money but the letdown of an anticipated treat turning into an unpleasant experience. The remnants in the trashcan echoed the disappointment of a meal that failed to meet the simplest expectations, leaving me longing for the flavorful satisfaction that had eluded...

We have ordered consistently from this location for many years, occasionally there will be an issue but nothing major and it was always fixed. Today I called to place an order for delivery, when I completed the order, the woman on the line asked if she could call back in 5 minutes to get my address. Thought it was strange, but whatever, I hung up and waited, when she didn't call back, I called again, stating that I had placed a delivery order and was asked to call back. She placed me on hold, then another employee came in the line, and he asked if I could call back again, because they were "a little busy". Frustrated, I told them to cancel the order and hung up. Other locations may be better, but I can't recommend...
