G'S TEA Dixieland — Restaurant in Harlingen

This past Sunday i went by and got a thai tea, a matcha latte and a my sunrise drink. When ordering the cashier Heaven did not ask if i would like points. I wasn’t aware of putting in my number neither because the screen didn’t show an option. Once i paid and got my receipt i didn’t see the code to text the number for points. My mom went to talk to the asian women and ask if there was a way to get the points. Since we purchased around 20 dollars of drinks. She proceeded to say no because it was on the machine. My mom told her well this promotion doesn’t work for customers. One of the workers that’s chunky and with green eyes decides to join the conversation, and proceeded to tell my mom that not because they will lose us as customers it was going to affect the clientele. This is very disappointing, we would always go every week for boba but with this experience i will no longer be supporting this business. Let me just say I been a fan since the old location before the new location. The coffee and tea’s have always been spot on. I went yesterday and you all had the CUTEST teddy bear cups so I had to get one with a tarro latte . I was also lucky enough to try a lemon cupcake you had with lemon frosting it was delicious!! Everything about this place is amazing the atmosphere the coffee the pastries. The owner is extremely nice! Very sweet lady you can tell she takes pride in you business it’s extremely clean and the set up decor inside the shop just makes the place cozy . If you have not tried this place yet I highly recommend coming here for a date or with friends or alone I guarantee this will become y’all favorite spot just like it became mine. visited G’s Tea off Dixieland and spent a total of $39.70 on several drinks, including a taro latte and a Dubai chocolate bar. Unfortunately, the taro latte was disappointing, while it had the expected purple color, it tasted only like milk with no noticeable taro flavor.

When I asked if it could be remade, I was informed that it is store policy to charge for remakes. I chose to return the drink, as I did not wish to pay again, but I feel this policy should be clearly displayed at the counter so customers are aware beforehand.

The other drinks I ordered were drinkable but not particularly enjoyable, and overall, I left disappointed given the amount I spent. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration to improve both transparency and...
