McDonald's — Restaurant in Harlingen

My sister just almost got assaulted after church.This is the McDonald's in Harlingen on DixieLand. My sister got out late from church and stopped by McDonald's to place an order around 10:30pm. While she was ordering her food one of the employees threw a big chunk of ice towards her, it passed by her head so close that her hair blew back. The big chunk of ice hit the wall behind her and shattered everywhere. My sister was upset and asked for a manager and asked who did it and the whole team working there was just laughing at her and wasn't taking it seriously. This is very unacceptable that big piece of ice could have hit her right in her face. The manager there was laughing and wasn't taking it serious at all so she called me. So I went talked to the new manager changing shifts and got everyone's information and the GM information as well. Their whole crew working right now are a bunch of youngsters that have no respect. Why are the managers allowing them to be horse playing like that and throwing things around? I don't like doing bad reviews and hurting businesses but this one is for a good reason. They are so lucky my sister has been saved by God because they don't know my sister. I'm actually very proud of her for controlling herself. Long story short some people need to be fired and I will make sure it gets done! Because no one apologized to her and all you could hear in the back was them laughing and smirking still. It took about twenty minutes to get "fast food". Do you remember when, before "Covid-19" you used to be able to get food quickly, fast, and fresh? I do. Now? It's laughable. It's almost as if fast food joints make it deliberately insufferable. The food was just like typical McDonald's food, meh. I did have one of the most comical observations I've ever seen though at a McDonald's. The guy that was responsible for handing (also, prepping and bagging) out the orders had in his hand the fry scoop. You ever see this thing? It's pretty easy actually, you take a small, medium, or large fry container, and you put it over the small end of the fry scoop. Then, while the container is still attached, you take the large end of the scoop and put it in the fry bin, and let the scoop fill the respective container. This means that you should get the right size/amount of fries for each container. Instead, this dude was opening a small envelope with his hand, mind you he wasn't wearing any gloves at all - but the hilarious part was is that he opened up the envelope with his fingers, and then tried taking the scoop and tried to put fries inside the envelope with the scoop while holding the envelope open with the other hand with his fingers. It was one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a long time from a fast food person. Y'all really need to learn how to train your employees, get them to practice safe food safety, and additionally, understand how to use very basic and fundamental tools when it comes to packaging of all things,...

Edit 06/30/25-(there's a new manager working night shift I had two separate orders to take out I gotten my two big mac's in one bag and was waiting for the mCrispy she kept on asking me if I needed any help I then showed her my receipt since I was waiting for the mCrispy she then replied with I swear I've seen you get your order in the same bag I then told her well I'ma check if that 2nd separate order is in the bag I then checked and showed her and she went in to get my 2nd order I dnt think she is good to fill in the position of the manager she should be flipping burgers with that attitude) The Manager (Female manager) needs to take her job serious they just hire anyone and make anyone the manager let somebody else take that role 🙏🏻 that manager needs to be replaced I waited 15 or more minutes for my food that took them long I don't think my order was being processed I see everyone else walking in and there order came out in 5 or 10 minutes as im hungry patiently waiting for an employee to see my number on the table to bring me my food as I made a claim the manager said wheres your order did it go away then proceeded to tell me ima check the cameras I was close to going live on TikTok no wonder a good friend of mine left McDonald's and he was like the Superman of McDonald's he kept that place top tier and they...
