6•21•25 came in for lunch and to my surprise it was disappointed so I get the brisket bowl and what's wrong with you Reyna's either rename this bowl or take the picture off the back where you order because that picture is false advertisement it use to be as it looked but now NOPE. So here is what happened they bring you the bowl and in the bowl they put like a bed of too much lettus then abt 1/4 of rice and and beans on top of the lettus now for $14.00 seriously lettus come on now people ridiculous I brought it a mgr attention and asked her what is the deal she said a bit to much lettus I'm like yeah. Where's the rice and beans I ordered a brisket bowl not a lettus bowl. I was so upset yet she was kind enough to bring me a small cup of the rice and beans. The brisket I ordered moist as usual it is weighed or a certain amount so fine. But the rest of the bowl no one happy. What the serving is in the white cup is what should have been in the bowl then the salad in the side. Anyways it has changed and I don't recommend this dish so people see the picture so you know how much lettus and for the $14.00 no ill go to a real salad bar and spend less for it. Reyna's fix this issue nit fair for customers smh!. Not to mention the chicken bowl it was super dry. Either over cooked or just reheated needs improvement. I have prior brisket bowls and are great but this last ones horrible.

Came in a gain for a good dinner, and as usual, the brisket bowl is so good i couldn't finish it. But I do recommend it very tasty. Still good customer service and well served dish with a flour tortilla or corn your choice.

As always so delish that fully loaded potato was so good, i added more trimmings and sheesh perfect and just right. Thank you, Reynas.

Was very good food, yes it is pricey, but this place does their dishes very well served, and I really enjoyed my Brisket Bowl. So good Came back and tried the bake potato w moist brisket and OMG, so it was so delish well worth it. yall give it a try, but you must be super hungry because...

Everything about this place is clean and shiny and new. The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are good.

But who cares about that? How's the food!?!?!

The brisket is moist and very good. Not great, but very good. It's cooked long enough to develop a good smoke ring but not so long as to lose moisture or flavor. It could use more spice and a heavier bark, though.

The sausage is outstanding. Terrific flavor with a good snap to it.

The smoked chicken is very good. The pieces are large and very tasty. However, like the brisket, the chicken could use more spice.

The pork ribs are very tasty but rather small. I had the baby backs. They were small and slightly overcooked. I liked them but they could be quite a bit better. Next time I'll try the spareribs.

How about the sides? Sides are sides. You don't come to a barbecue place for sides. You come for the meat!

Overall Reyna's Barbecue is a very nice addition to the dining options in the Harlingen area. I give it very high marks for making everything fresh and clean and attractive. The food is very, very good though it could be a bit better. I look forward to returning many times to monitor...

I usually don’t write reviews…but this one was necessary to acknowledge an employee by the name of Edgar at the Harlingen restaurant and his excellent customer service! Earlier this afternoon I ordered thru drive, and when I got home, my order was incorrect. I called the restaurant and spoke with a female team leader (don’t recall her name) who took my name and number and told me she would place it in a binder and that I could come again and my incorrect meal would be replaced for free. I went early evening that same day to get my replacement meal and was told they did not have my name or number in the binder. Edgar asked me what time I had been there earlier that day and he took the time to look up my order that I had placed in drive-thru. I told Edgar I just needed the one meal that was incorrect to be replaced as that’s what I was told by the female I spoke with earlier. Edgar said he would replace my whole order (which was just an additional 1/2 link sausage) and gave me a complimentary dessert for my inconvenience! NOW THAT IS EXCELLENT...
