This is a new review based on the poor service and nasty disposition of 2 associates today. Approximately 8 cars (including myself) were in line this afternoon...well before the 2pm closing time. I was in the line at 1:30pm and 6 of the cars ahead of me were in the line way before that.
During the first few minutes or so a couple walked up to the door and it was already locked (1:38).
Only 1 car had placed the order at the box during this time as well. Myself and the other cars sat for 30 or more minutes with no movement in the line. I have seen times where the line has had at least 20 cars and they get them moving pretty quickly. So I am shocked that they could not move 8 cars before closing. One lady stated she had been waiting for at least 40 minutes.
A female associate came out with a very poor attitude yelling they were closed and the male associate repeating the same after her. She told him to go ahead and place the cones out. When asked by a couple of cars if those in line would still be serviced as we were in line well before closing time she replied very nasty...no they were closed and her manager told her to come out and put the cones out and say they were closed.
Another lady who was the box waiting to place her order asked the female associate if there was a manager inside. The female associate replied well I am the manager. However she just stated that her manager told her to come out.
From my view point it appears that orders were not being taken from 1:40p forward in order to reduce workload ahead of closing.
Unfortunately none of the cars including myself were not able to place our order. This was the first time I had seen such poor service and attitude and mannerism from the Biscuitville and an associate.
In the future when closing time approaches and there are cars in line you can politely inform customers that you are closing and will not be able to take any further orders and/or allow those that where in the line within the drive-thru area to place...
Read moreJust had a "who's on first" with an employee. I ordered a #9 and asked for cheddar cheese instead of American. It came out with American on it. I went back up and said I ordered it with cheddar and she said "shredded?" I said "cheddar" - "but his comes with American" - "but I asked for cheddar" - "so you want shredded cheese?" - "cheddar" - "but this comes with American." Apparently, their cheddar only comes shredded. Someone in charge stepped in to clarify and offered to remake it. It wasn't the most pleasant of exchanges. It was more intended to end the conversation and get me out of there. Having a knowledgeable cashier would have prevented all of this Having the food runner understand that customers are not intimately familiar with the menu would have helped at that point The manager did take over and try to resolve the issue but, again, I was the problem, not the communication failures that led to the situation
The floors in the kitchen were littered with food and packaging, the order prep surfaces were covered in biscuit pieces, and there were about 100% more employees than required. I saw someone grab a piece of chicken with their hand (it was gloved) from the drive thru prep area and walk around and back to the dine in order prep area with it waving in the air.
Surprisingly, the self serve drink area was tidy and well stocked.
The food was good, even with the American "cheese." I declined the remake offer.
I probably won't return to this location, and will think twice...
Read moreThis is my first (written) review in years I think, but I had to write about it. So this is the second time I've gone to this location. I went through the drive-thru and ordered/paid without a hitch. Then when I got to the window, they asked me what my order was, so I showed the receipt. The lady at the window was going to give me an extra drink alongside the two that I ordered, so I told her that it wasn't right and that there was an extra drink. Someone else came to the window and asked me for my ordered again so I said that I ordered the two meals and two lattes with an extra side. So I was given the two drinks that I ordered and then given the bag of food which I didn't think they'd get wrong. On the way home I decided to check the bag, lo and behold they got my side order wrong (receipt is attached to this review.) I ordered one meal with hashbrown, one meal with fries, and an extra order of cheese with grits that I wanted to try. They only gave me two hashbrowns. Then, when I got home to open the sandwiches, I saw that they gave me two standard sausage egg and cheese biscuits without the apple butter.
So after asking what my order was TWICE they did not get the order right and almost gave me someone else's drink. I just don't understand where the disconnect is and I'm disappointed because I actually enjoyed my first experience there a few days ago, then this second trip came and it sort of deters me from wanting to...
