I know you guys are just getting started with your new business and I wish you the best. Just a couple things I'd like to advise on so you can prosper. My significant other and I attended your Saturday Brunch event on 1/18/25. The organization for getting guests to a table was so disappointing. The event was to start at 11am but we didn't get to a table til almost noon. We didn't eat anything prior with the expectation of getting served at 11am so we were starving and I have l8w blood sugar so I could have surely passed out waiting so long. The layout of the first floor with the bar being on angle right at front door made the whole seating process a hot mess. Everyone standing around the bar and front door where no one could move. We finally get seated, and the table was unsteady. Food was good! The attendant for the roast beef should have been placed closer to rest of the food. I didn't get to any bc we were already full. But had he been placed near food, there may have been more guests who would have had roast beef. Our server, very light skin young girl, needs some training. Not good service at all! She was all over the place! No utensils on table until we asked, waited way too long for my mimosa- food was nearly eaten by time it came and my s/o never got just a glass of water for his drink til the end. The event page stated an omelet station but staff did not know anything about this until I asked. We ordered them and again they came when we were done with other food- service not good with that. Again event page said mimosa and bloody mary bar. It appeared from page they were part of the event price. We ended being charged for each one that was ordered. A shocking surprise! Things need to be published with specific details so there are no surprises to your guests. Also please take note to everything said. Service was not good; organization has a lot to be desired; and layout of stations should be re-thought. Just hoping this helps you improve for future business.

Read moreI was disappointed ☹️ My husband and I came here for a date night and was let down. The bar tender was also the hostess and the waiter. He was nice but kept apologizing and I do appreciate that. Someone was cussing loudly at the bar, not his fault, and his hand-held machine was acting up when trying to enter our meal selection, things happen. I had the chicken/collard greens egg rolls, they tasted old, flat, and lacked crispness. My lemon pepper wings had a scorched taste, like the oil was too hot and cooked too quickly. My cabbage was overcooked and had too much turmeric(?). My yams were good, not too sweet or mushy. I enjoyed the catfish nuggets. They were both our favorite selection, hot, crunchy and flavorful. My husband had the crab cake but wasn’t impressed. I can’t elaborate on that though, I didn’t try it. I felt bad because I picked this location. We went on a Sunday evening, there were very few people there. It’s a one and...
Read moreWow. Just wow. So good, I can't wait to come back to eat my way through the menu!
I started with the seafood soup (a bisque) which was topped with their lump crab meat and crab fully integrated throughout the soup. A tad bit salty given that the crab already adds a salty flavor - despite that, it was delicious! Not a huge complaint but just to let you know that their "bowl" is the size of a typical cup.
Next up was the Cajun pasta to which I added their crab meat. I asked for the Cajun seasoning on the side in case it was too spicy; it was not, and I had them leave out the bell peppers and onion. Super filling and a creamy delight. The only thing that would have made this did perfect was if it came with a piece of bread to wipe up every last bit of sauce.
On the side I then got the collard greens. These were possibly the best collard greens I've ever had! Smoky, rich, so flavorful, with some nice chunks of smoked pork. This is...
