So my review is an average of two very different experiences. First is the good… there is a server by the name of Georgia who is maybe one of the best I have ever had. She was awesome on my visit and made sure despite other tables of obvious regulars she treated me the same as if I were one of them. This earned her a large more than 50% tip(also I ordered drinks and pretty large bill so wasn’t some cheap bill either. I’m pretty simple to please but she went above and beyond while I was there last Tuesday night.
Now we get to the bad… maybe the most annoyed I have been at a restaurant in a very long time. This time as the result of the server Luke this evening. From the start when I ordered waters to drink (I was with my 8 year old daughter so not about to drink alcohol l) he had an attitude. Didn’t speak to us other than the half hearted asking if everything came out ok. Then once I finished my meal and my daughter was still eating as kids do slowly he comes over and doesn’t ask if I wanted dessert (actually did) but instead asks if we need a box basically trying to push us out the door. Then gives us a check without asking if needed or wanted anything else. Doesn’t say anything just awkwardly steps to the table and slides it to me. Then I was paying with a digital gift card I got so is on my phone… every other time a server writes the numbers down from my phone screen and goes to run the card for payment… he caught himself but at first sits the pen down for me to write it (sure I may be a bit petty here but I’m sorry that’s not really my job) this is after he went mia other than to help his larger table who just sat down but despite passing my table 6 times he never comes to collect the bill or anything. His co workers then could see I was beginning to be visibly upset but he still ignored us… finally then comes to us. Then instead of processing the payment continues to make us wait another 5-10 mins as I see him having a conversation with a co worker that absolutely could of waited until we were cashed out. Comes back still doesn’t say anything to us and sets it down to sign for and walks away. I hate not giving tips and I’m sure it could of been worse but I didn’t give a tip because it was very obvious he didn’t care from the point we ordered waters as our drink. Sad part is I had a $10 bill in my wallet I went and got from ATM specifically before going there to give a good tip on what would of been a $25-30 order… but he didn’t get it. Show some care… don’t treat customers as they aren’t worth your time.. also make sure to ask if they are done before trying to get rid of them. He not only lost himself money but also his employer. Definitely shouldn’t be a server or needs to at least start learning from watching his co workers especially Georgia who is...
Read moreWent for an anniversary to the new location. Love the set up and the modern atmosphere!! Great TVs!!
We sat on the further side of the bar (east side of building) and it was much quieter, but also was filling for a huge bday party as we left (thankfully!).
However - the food was ICE COLD!!! We waited a solid 20+ minutes for wings and when they came out I was already starving and just ate them but it seemed like their food warmers were all off (even though it was 1pm ish).
I worked for this franchise owner before at a dif location so I know how foods made. They batch cook the wings (usually 1x @ 11am & 1 time at 3pm) and stuff them in a heated drawer and pull em out, toss em in sauce, then order up. Not only were the wings icy cold but so was the sauce! So no heat in the kitchen?? Warmers in a new facility don’t work?? Then to top it off I see in the newspaper the dish washers didn’t even have detergent in the entire building!!! What!! You have that much staff and new everything and can’t keep it together?!?
Staff was very cold and unfriendly, seemed to really just keep to themselves as a group but did at least check on us. They did forget my non alcohol drink too and I never did get it at all. Didn’t bother to keep asking because it was always someone different!! Really weird.
Oh, and we ordered carrots and celery w a 20pc wing and got 2 celery and 5 carrots? So we each only get 1 celery? Lol
I’ll probably be back thanks to family but not willingly. I’m thankful I didn’t get sick between the undercooked/temped food & lack of dish sanitizer soap in the building!!! Beer was cold and bathroom was clean…really the only good things from this visit.
Not terribly unhappy just disgusted and saddened they’d sent out ice cold wings with dirty dishes (yes even bar dishes had no soap).
Felt like a scam for my money. Service is really down the drain these days in America! What happened to all the good, caring trainers for these employees?? Are companies no longer giving their employees all of the best tools for the job??
Don’t be surprised if your visit...
Read moreI’m writing to share a frustrating experience I had while using the Buffalo Wild Wings app to place a to-go order. I ordered a New York-style cheesecake, which included caramel by default, but the app did not allow me to remove it or add strawberries. When I picked up the order and saw it was just caramel (which I didn’t want), I politely raised the issue with the manager.
Instead of offering understanding or a simple apology, he responded with, “I’ll let it slide, but you need to call next time to make sure your order is right.” This completely defeats the purpose of using the app in the first place. As a customer using your platform to order your product, I shouldn’t be expected to double-check or call every time because your tech doesn’t allow for basic customization.
To top it off, the cheesecake was honestly inedible, and while he offered a gift certificate, the way I was spoken to made it clear I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning to that location.
I hope this feedback encourages a review of how customers are treated when mistakes are made — especially ones rooted in your own app’s limitations. A little empathy and accountability...
