Panda Express — Restaurant in Hartland Township

I loved Panda Express Hartland, and they always did a great job. Tonight however, they dropped the ball. I ordered 60 bucks worth of food for my wife’s bday,with a total 70 dollar bill. One item I ordered was not received: chicken egg rolls. I get it, sometimes mistakes are made.

So I called the establishment, and was told that I needed to contact DoorDash. Huh?! I ordered the food online through Panda Express, I said. No, if there is a problem I need to call DoorDash. Okay, I said, how do I contact them?

No idea, I was told, and then they hung up the phone. WT actual F? So I called back TO THE ESTABLISHMENT, because I was hoping to speak to a manager about my 12 dollar chicken egg rolls, that I paid for, but did not receive. NO ANSWER. I called back again, and again. VOICEMAIL.

You just lost THOUSANDS of dollars in business because of a missed chicken egg roll order. Worth a whole 12 dollars.

I wanted to fill out the survey for them on our receipt because they asked me to but we ordered on the app so I couldn’t figure out how to but seriously this was hands down the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Like I said we mobile ordered on their app for pickup when my fiancé went to grab it he just grabbed the bag and left didn’t check it until we got home well half the order wasn’t in there and it was New Year’s Eve and snowing pretty bad I called up there and they said they have the other stuff bagged up and maybe my fiancé had just overlooked it on the shelf but the man on the phone ended up personally dropping it off to us just so we had our order! We just had a baby and have a toddler at home so him doing that for us was so sweet and so so so appreciated. Thank you for being so caring and food was amazing everyone working at that location especially the guy that brought us our order...

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this location was not too busy inside on a Saturday for dinner. The staff was working hard to fulfill orders for dine in, carry out, and drive thru. The person that helped us with our order was very nice, and our food was delicious. The dining area was very clean with some seats blocked off for social distancing. The ladies restroom was also clean.

UPDATE: Check your orders before leaving! We stopped in for mobile order carryout and they had forgotten an item in our order. I asked about it and they insisted it was in there, so I had to unpack my entire order on a table, opening every box, to prove to them it wasn't there. Only then did they acknowledge the mistake, then we had to wait longer to get what we ordered, while the rest of our food was getting cold. Not a...
