I do like other Leo’s so I believe it’s just this location, but it’s pretty bad. Stopped with my wife and it was not good from A-Z! I ordered steak and eggs. Waitress said “I’ll have to check, we’re usually out” which is code for we no longer offer it but haven’t taken it off the menu. I then ordered Lemon and rice soup and Wife ordered fish and chips special. Soup was cool around the edges of the bowl and lukewarm in the center. I sent back and passed on ordering anything else, I know when to give up! My wife’s fish and chips came and fish and chips came out hot but dripping in cooking oil. That’s either due to oil not up to temp or old oil, she said it was OK but would not order again.
Waitress was pleasant but never offered my Wife a drink refill. Brought the check and left for the back where the other 4 waitresses and all the cooks were laughing and talking. We were left the only people at 4 P.M. at this large restaurant, no one came back to take our money for more than 10 minutes. No one came to the register. I never made a fuss about my soup, I was not obnoxious or anything. I think they just could have cared less! If I had been the owner, I would have fired all of the employees and locked the doors, then re-opened when I had things under control.
If the Manager or Owner was a part of the service and the food quality then they should close the doors an opt for a different career path! I predict this restaurant will be closed within 12 months. We were the only people in the place at 4 P.M. on a Friday afternoon, there must be reasons!
Sorry for the bad review, but...
Read moreWe arrived at 8:20 pm and were seated promptly. However, upon sitting down, we overheard the line cooks arguing with the waitstaff, announcing that all incoming orders would be takeout only from that point on. We were still waiting for a fourth member of our party, and throughout the wait, the line cooks continued to loudly complain about "turning it off" (presumably the kitchen) to the waiters.
When we informed the staff that we were still waiting for another person, they relayed this to the kitchen. We then witnessed them turn away at least four walk-in parties, claiming they were only doing takeout. They did seat one party, seemingly out of guilt, but the line cooks made it very clear they were making an exception.
To top it off, when we requested a refill for our takeaway lemonade, we were told it would be an extra charge. Perhaps most concerning, the staff decided to mop the floor around our table while we were still eating, leaving the floor very wet and slippery. This not only disrupted our meal but also posed a safety hazard.
The unprofessional behavior of the staff, the sudden switch to takeout-only service, and the unsafe cleaning practices significantly impacted our dining experience. Frankly, the entire situation was...
Read moreOn our way home from a weekend away and made a stop for breakfast. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a man who I assume is the owner. Super friendly guy. We were seated immediately and waters were brought out promptly. The waitress was kind and attentive.
We each ordered omelettes. One was the western omelette and it was pretty standard. Regular flavor, no wow factor which is understandably difficult with breakfast food. The pancake on the side seemed like it was just from a box mix, again, no wow factor.
The other was a Mexican omelette. I don't know any Mexican food that includes canned chili on top of eggs... but it was not good. Barely ate 1/4 of it. Flavor was way off, definitely an odd combo. Hashbrowns lacked salt and flavor, unless you include the burnt pieces.
Booths are super close together, no middle divider between booths in one row. Probably needs a good cleaning in the dining area and the bathrooms were similar to something you'd find in a gas station off the highway.
If you're looking for a quick bite while traveling, this would be an okay spot. If you want a real breakfast, I...
