UPDATE - 4/16/23 Our Sunday dinner was brought to you by Corleone’s Pizzeria located in Hasbrouck Height. I called the establishment as it was the first time ordering for takeout and got their original grandma pie and a large Greek salad. They use their own driver whose delivery was on time as quoted. The pizza was still hot, fresh with perfect sauce to cheese ratio, thin with a thicker edge crust and so light. The Greek salad was made fresh whose portion was pretty good. With the amazing customer service, positivity, genuine care and one of the best thin pan pizza we ever had in a long time, my partner and I definitely can recommend this place.
What is a Grandma Pizza? Created on Long Island at Umberto's of New Hyde Park, it is a fairly thin sheet-pan pizza with sliced mozzarella cheese and randomly scattered thick plum tomatoes on top. It’s baked in a pan heavily coated with olive oil giving that unmistakable crunch. Passed by this establishment numerous times and after having read the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to pay Corleone’s Pizzeria on Williams Ave in Hasbrouck Heights a visit for dinner tonight. Upon entering, I was greeted by the owner John and his staff at this quaint establishment with several seatings. All of the specialty slices look good but I focused to the various grandma pies which he recommended the Drunk. So I’ve decided on the Original with mozzarella, tomato sauce & fresh basil and the Drunk consisting of mozzarella, vodka sauce & fresh basil accompanied with birch beer. Both slices were flavorful with fresh perfect sauce to cheese ratio, thin with a thicker edge crust so crispy. The Drunk even had some crushed garlic to bring out the taste. The staff had an amazing customer service, positivity, and genuine care. The price was reasonable. This might have been my first experience which was wonderful and certainly not the last which I...

From the moment you place your order to the second you pick it up, Corleone’s reminds you why family-owned pizzerias will always reign supreme. The friendly service alone deserves five stars—but let’s talk about the food.
The Garden Salad: This isn’t your typical sad side salad. This thing was HUGE! Fresh, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, black olives, and peppers—so fresh it might as well have been picked that morning.
Cheese Pizza: Absolute perfection. The sauce? Flavorful and just the right amount. The cheese? Perfectly melted, gooey, and delicious. The crust? Crisp on the outside, soft inside. Basically, textbook pizza greatness.
Meat Lovers Pizza: Oh. My. Goodness. A generous helping of meatballs, sliced sausage, and pepperoni—it’s the ultimate protein-packed masterpiece. Every bite was a flavor explosion. Yum, yum, and more yum!
If I had to define 5 stars, Corleone’s Pizzeria would be the example. A must-try spot that proves the best pizza comes from local, family-run joints. Now, excuse me while I plot my...
Read moreI RARELY leave reviews, but my experience last night was so bad I felt I had to let others know. I ordered via Grubhub at 5:45pm. The initial estimate for delivery was 6:15-6:30. That estimate quickly changed to 6:45-7. Fine, it’s raining, I totally get delays, I’m a reasonable person who understands I’m not the only human on the planet. At 7 my order had not arrived, so I called and was told it was next to go out. I live 2mi from Corleone’s. At 7:30, still haven’t received my order so I call again. I’m told it’s out for delivery. At 7:45, still not here so I call again and the woman who answers tells me that my order has been cancelled and then reads off a long list of excuses in an attempt to make me feel unreasonable. I get it, it’s raining, there will be delays, but 2 hours???!! That is unreasonable. If you can’t fulfill orders in a reasonable time frame then refuse orders. I will never order from this place again, nobody wants to experience late food...
