It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. I’m hoping it’s insightful enough to spark a change.
This store is one I avoid if I can not only because of the parking, but because of their mobile order experience. The app always questions how early my mobile order is being placed, but I’ll still go through with it knowing they don’t prioritize mobile orders here... There is no dedicated staff for mobile orders (like the drive thru) which is understandable.. though it seems mobile orders are neglected (hopefully unintentionally), as it seems they are addressed only when staff notice them come in. If they don’t, then it seems they clear out the entire in store queue before they start the mobile order. You’ll also notice that your typically not the only frustrated mobile order waiting around.
You’re okay if you’ve ordered a drink as long as you give it an extra 5-10 minutes added on top of the estimated time displayed in the app.
It’s the hot food items with your drink that seems to get your order thrown into a long eternity. This seems to be an item tasked to the one staff member at the front who handles the register. The wait for a hot food mobile order items has been a horrible experience for me. 15+ minutes over the estimated mobile order time... and the worst is when you inquire about your food and find out it’s not in stock! Starbucks, had you told me or gave me an indication 20 min ago, I’d have gladly gotten something else! Thank you for asking, but Refund please!
Starbucks, please figure out a system for notifying your customers that their order isn’t in stock after it’s been placed! Will save your employees a lot of grief.
It’s a shame as this is the oldest and well known Starbucks location in the neighborhood. I forgot what used to be here before Starbucks bought them out and retrofit the location. The other two Starbucks locations south of this one are much newer additions to...
Read moreThe way the barista talked to me was disgusting and rude. I work in customer service I deal with customers every single day and that was no way near acceptable. I had a question about the new reward system and if it was compatible with the new matcha latte but he was impatient and took the customer behind me since I was looking at the menu too long according to him. When the other customer was done ordering I go to step up to give him my order and he gave me a nasty attitude and said “if you weren’t ready to order then why did you get in line?” I ignored this and went on with my order, I said that I would like to use my reward and I told him the drink and he charged me for it. Didn’t even use my reward. As I sat down and talked to my friend I could over hear him being rude to another customer who ordered online and came in to pick up her drink. The same barista was “helping” her out. He said “maybe you shouldn’t have ordered an hour ago” in a very passive aggressive manner a simple “ok ma’am I’ll remake it for you since it has been an hour” would have sufficed. If a manager or general manager sees this please re-train this barista in an arm sling to have better customer interaction, I however will never be coming back to this...
Read moreThe staff at this location were friendly this past Saturday, but unfortunately not knowledgeable about the drinks. We ordered the lavender oat milk latte and commented on how great it was to have a delicious dairy-free option (due to a milk allergy). We've had it before at another location without any issue. However, the barista told us it wasn’t dairy-free because the lavender powder supposedly contained dairy. We politely explained that this wasn’t the case, but he double-checked with another barista who repeated the same misinformation. We tried clarifying that perhaps they were thinking of the lavender cream matcha, which does have dairy, but both insisted the lavender powder itself contained milk. They emphasized that they don’t add milk to it, but were adamant that the powder had dairy. In the end, we asked to see the packaging, and—as we expected—there was no dairy listed in the ingredients. It was a strange experience because they were so sure about something that wasn’t accurate, which made us hesitant to order the...
