KFC — Restaurant in Hasbrouck Heights

Despite liking kfc as a restaurant, this one is one of the lowest of the low. I was just laid off today after my third week there. (Please note that I am on the spectrum/autistic/whatever you wanna call it)The food is fine, but the staff is straight up dysfunctional. There are like only two competent workers in the back. The worst person there is definitely the manager. I think her name is Doris but I don't care. This woman is verbally abusive, and doesn't bother to treat any of her staff with a single drop of respect other than who I think is the assistant manager. She badmouths the drive thru worker, called her "special", (even though Im convinced she knew about my "special"-ness) and when she gets frustrated, she straight up throws/slams stuff around. She speaks spanish sometimes and although i don't understand most spanish I'm pretty sure she called me a demon(diablo) behind my back, says she "can't be babysitting" or "I'm babysitting for free". She is the lowest of the low and I cannot see how anybody would defend this behavior. Long story short: if you're looking for work DO NOT apply here. 9/hr is not worth the struggle. Pretty safe to say I will NEVER go to this...

Shut this place down… look at the the COCKROACH REVIEW aswell. I preordered food around 4:30pm to pick up at 6:00pm. I pulled up at 5:56pm and they told me they were out of the extra crispy chicken and offered me regular. I declined and asked if there would be anymore and how long it would take for them to make it. They said to come back in 20 minutes. Someone else came back to pick it up for me. There were 2 cars at the KFC, one in the parking lot and one waiting on the side area for their meal. At the driveway they said she still had to wait 2 minutes. She asked “2 minutes?” And the worker said “Yes, 2 minutes” When she got to the second window they told her 5 minutes. She got frustrated with them a little because i preordered and still had to wait longer. The employee said that she has to wait 5 minutes because there are other people in line. she gets to my house and eats with me and her daughter. She’s getting ready to leave and as she moves around the biscuits she lifts one and theres a ball of hair. Based on other reviews i’ve looked at their quality, costumer service, and cleanliness is VERYYY...

Update June 28. The ridiculous amount of gravy they're now giving out on the side looks like a war ration. We were told that they only give out "one spoonful" now. Well when a customer asks for more, you should give them more, unless you don't want to make customers happy anymore. (Because how many customers will actually ask?)

Upon our last visit my chicken sandwich wasn't as good as they usually are, because it wasn't quite as juicy. When I get a good chicken sandwich from KFC they are equal to and sometimes better than even the Popeyes Chicken sandwich. So it was unusual that this wasn't as good as previous times.

KFCs are still using the old soda machines, so soda choices are limited. However KFC's are one of the few restaurants where you can get Sweet Lightning, a Mountain Dew flavor. (If not the only restaurant)

This KFC has a really cool table, with a giant chicken bucket above it. Pretty cool for photos.
