Philly Pretzel Factory — Restaurant in Hasbrouck Heights

1st time here and service was great! The young lady was so helpful for a 1st timer with answering all of our questions and giving suggestions. She explained how freezing the pretzels and reheating them in a toaster oven or airfryer would get it back to how it taste when you just get it in the store.

We settled on Spicy Pretzel Sausage, Mini Dogs, Pepperoni Melt and 5 Pretzels.

She explained that it would be 15mins for the Mini Dogs and Pepperoni Melts so we said we would wait in our car and soon as they were ready she came out to tell us 😀

Hubby and I both loved the Spicy Pretzel Sausage. Definitely getting this again!

Pepperoni Melt was good especially with the marinara sauce but this must be eaten immediately! Ours got cold and the cheese was just a clump on 1 side as it was standing up in the bag LOL buy we did wish there was more pepperonis. 😞 Kind of stingy with the pepperoni for something that is called Pepperoni Melt... though Hubby was happy with all the cheese it had!

I appreciate this place because of two things. The first is that the food is always good. The pretzels are fresh, but I really enjoy the mini cheesesteaks as well. The second is the service I got, which I value. I needed a big order done quickly (waited until last minute) after I stopped into the store to explain my situation. They were great about helping me out when they really didn’t have to. The other thing I thought was great was that in conversation with them about order and waiting for it, that they have donated to local businesses during COVID (hospitals, etc). There is something to be said for everyone chipping in and doing what they can. Anyways - well run, good food and will be repeat customer. Thanks...

Too Good to Go Review

I ordered for a pick up for a Tuesday at 5 pm via Too Good to Go. The app allows you to order a surprise bag of a restaurants remaining food for the day, for a discounted price. I’m the bag was a row of pretzels, pretzel nuggets, cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets, and a pepperoni stick. While the amount of food we received was appreciated, we ended up having to throw most of it out. Most of the items tasted like they were from the day before and not the day of. The row of pretzels was so chewy. The only thing that was decent was the pepperoni stick.

The cheesesteak, pretzel dog, and spicy sausage did catch my eye, so I would be willing to give it another shot and try those...
