Gave the place another chance, but I am so tired of their screw-ups, and it disappoints me profoundly that this is like the second or third Taco Bell that I can no longer go to due to that. I just don't know how they can so consistently find such a low functioning people. It's not rocket science. And fixing it was not rocket science. I ordered tacos supremes for myself, and a plain taco for my daughter. I was digging through trying to find the plain taco and it looked like they gave us all taco supremes at a glance, so I just gave one to my little daughter. Then we discovered that one of them had chicken or whatever on it, certainly not what I ordered. So I brought it back to them, showed it to them, explained to them that it was just supposed to be a plain taco and to please replace it so my daughter gets what she wants which is what we (insert expletive) ordered in the first (insert expletive) place. And people mess up from time to time, okay. But they were looking at me like they didn't quite fully understand the concept of, "okay, look at this. This is not what I ordered. What I need instead is just a plain taco." So they give it to my daughter in a bag, and we decide to take it home. At that point both of us felt full anyway. So she happily gives it to her mommy. What did they do? Somehow they thought that "plain taco" meant no meat whatsoever. I kid you not, they gave me a taco with just the vegetables. How do I go back when I was already giving them a fresh chance after just being tired of getting home from drive-thru orders to find that yet again they messed up something that really should be quite simple especially for people who do this on a regular basis. I don't make complicated orders. How do they screw it up? And if I can't use the one in Hasbrouck Heights, and I can't use the one in Carlstadt by the supermarket, how far am I going to travel for Taco Bell no matter how much I like it? I don't know any other chain that screws up orders as frequently as Taco Bell, and I have no idea why, but that's not my responsibility, is it? The climb of prices is bad enough to spend practically $3 on the taco, they're not very big, but who on earth would order a taco without any protein? "This seems to be some sort of chicken taco, it was supposed to be just a plain taco. A regular taco." Is it me??? Was that somehow more difficult than I'm grasping...
Read moreThis place is not what it used to be. The location has hit or miss kind of experience. After the renovations, we have had some good experiences where the food is made properly the way it is supposed to. But on most times (and 100% during drive-thru) the food has issues like, sides were just half the cup full. And the 5 player burrito may be only have beans and cheese, the Chalupas would not have salad and sour cream, etc. The managers are good to give you replacement on complaint but that should not be the customer experience. I would be surprised if I am the only one who has this kind of issues. Because, I always have to go back and have to ask them to explain why any particular item had missing ingredients. This location used to be the location where the manager used to suggest and even give you tryouts of new menu items. Gone are those days!!! So one piece of advice, if you are getting your food like most nowadays, from drive-thru, then check it thouroughly before you drive off to your destination. And be vocal and have them remake or replace your order. You are not giving them fake currency bills then why should you take incomplete or inaccurate order. 2 star for good renovations but...
Read moreThis place is such trash. Anytime you go inside for an order you stand at the counter and have all the workers staring at you. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to help a customer place an order or pick up an order and not every single person stare at you instead of helping. My fiancé does Uber eats and anytime we go in there for the order everyone just makes us wait and stand around. We literally went there for an order and stood there for about 20 minutes for them to tell us that somebody already picked up the order. And the same lady that was staring finalized it by saying yeah they picked it up with an I don't care face. That is peoples time and money all the workers here are trash they don't help nobody and you're going to waste your time. So if you're in a rush don't go in here and order food at the counter it's a mistake. I would've gave it a zero stars but they make you do one star minimum. Save your time and take the extra drive to...
