Java Moe's Coffee Company — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

My husband and I are from the Atlanta area and were recently in Hattiesburg for a week for my father-in-law's surgery. We stopped by Java Moe's in Wesley Hospital twice a day for coffee. I will say it is probably the best coffee I've ever had and since I've been home I've craved it. The two young women who made our coffee were extremely polite and friendly. But on our last day there was a young man behind the counter that was particularly rude and nasty to my husband. He was wearing some kind of support boot/cast on his foot and my husband made a comment to him along the lines of "looks like you hurt your foot" to which the young man rolled his eyes, sighed obnoxiously and said rudely "no I just like wearing this boot". My husband tried to apologize but the man rolled his eyes again, and proceeded to sling both of our coffees across the counter so recklessly they almost spilled and refused to say anything else to us as we thanked him for our coffee. I was in shock by his attitude and nasty behavior. We loved your coffee and the sweet young women who were behind the counter but you might need to re-train some of your employees on how to treat your customers and present a kind, friendly attitude. Lately the drinks haven't been properly made, and feels like the people there have no interest in working. They're polite, but they struggle with simple things like blending a frozen coffee into a consistency that isn't chunks of ice, or adding the right amount of flavor. We were about ready to give up on going here at all, it was getting so bad. However, this afternoon, there was a guy we hadn't seen before and everything was great! Perfect flavor, properly blended, and service was fast. Someone give that guy a promotion and a raise, because the rest of the employees should be following...

Java Moe’s is the only coffee shop I’ll go to when I’m in the Hattiesburg area! Everyone there is simply awesome! They always have a smile and a kind word and the drinks are OUT-FREAKING-STANDING! My Mocha with an extra shot and extra whip actually taste like mocha and not the cardboard cup... If you like your morning caffeinated drink with friendly smiles, kind words, and great service by folks that actually remember your name (that’s not written on the cup) at no extra charge lol... Java Moe’s is the place to visit! Not to mention you’d be shopping local!
